Astro Bot Space Bully Nebulax Walkthrough

Space Bully Nebulax is the final boss in Astro Bot. This level doesn’t contain any collectibles.

Level Unlock Requirement: Finish all main levels across the 5 Nebulas, then return to the Crash Site (hub area) to repair the PS5 mothership. Then hit the red container at Crash Site in front of the mothership to start the final sequence of levels.

Walkthrough: Space Bully Nebulax is a 3 phase boss fight. He’s the big green alien who has been harassing you throughout the game. What makes this fight special is that there’s an element of chance to it. He will spin a wheel that will decide what power-up you get for the next phase, which changes what attacks he will use. You must throw a glowing ball when you want him to stop spinning the wheel. What symbol you hit will decide your next powerup.

• Monkey – grab the rocks he shoots at you and toss them back at him
• Magnet – collect the metal and after you’ve amassed a big ball throw it at his face
• Dog – the boss will hit the floor repeatedly with a big sword, you must run sideways to avoid this. It’s best to start at one corner of the area and run diagonally to the opposite corner. When he stops striking you must use the Dog powerup to fly into his sword, thereby breaking it. You must break it twice. Then he throws the golden sword handle at you, use the Dog powerup to fly into the golden handle so it gets knocked back and hits the boss. If you don’t hit the handle he will take out another sword and you must repeat the steps.
• Frog Fists – he will use a hammer, you must jump over the purple shockwaves. Then hit the hammer to destroy it. Then pull on the hammer and toss it back at the boss.

On the third spin, he will always spin 1 field further than the one you hit. Between each phase you must jump up to his spaceship, hit his hands and then hit the purple lock.

After he’s defeated he will appear once more and throw objects at you from a distance but you’ll gain access to a minigun. Tilt the controller to aim the minigun and shoot the objects out of the air. Finally, shoot the big ship he throws at you to bounce it back at him, thus defeating him for good! Afterward only the credits remain. Then you can still mop up and collectibles you missed in other levels.
