Dead Space Remake (PS5 / PC version) includes a new secret alternative ending that was not in the original PS3 version. Unlocking this alternative ending unlocks the Reunion trophy and achievement. This guide explains how to get the alternative ending. It’s only available in New Game Plus and requires you to find all 12 Marker Fragments and place them in the Executive Quarters.
Alternative Ending Steps
Step 1: Finish the game once on any difficulty to unlock New Game Plus
Step 2: In New Game Plus a new collectible type called Marker Fragments will spawn. Collect all 12 Marker Fragments during your New Game Plus playthrough (» Dead Space Remake Marker Fragment Locations).
Step 3: After finding all 12 Marker Fragments, go to Crew Deck > Executive Quarters > Captain B. Mathius’ office (Lt Commander V. Holt on map). Place all Marker Fragments on the table that has 12 pedestals.
Step 4: Finish the story as you normally would. There’s nothing else to watch out for. At the end of the game you will now get the secret alternative ending. This unlocks 
Reunion trophy & achievement.
That’s all there is to unlocking the new alternate ending, exclusive to the PS5 / PC Remake of Dead Space.
