In Elden Ring there’s a region in the north of Caelid that’s hard to reach. It’s called Greyoll’s Dragonbarrow and is a high-level mid-game area. You can actually get there from the start of the game if you wish. Normally, you’d follow the main road through Caelid and arrive at Sellia, Town of Sorcery but the path is sealed off by blue magic walls. There are some easy workarounds to reach the north of Caelid right from the start.
First of all, the below image shows the northern part of Caelid where this guide will take you:
Method 1: Use Portal at Third Church of Marika
In Limgrave, north of the site of grace Third Church of Marika there’s a hidden portal in the pond behind the bushes. Interact with the portal and it will bring you to Bestial Sanctum in the very north of Caelid, Greyoll’s Dragonborrow region.
Method 2: Jump over Cliffs at Caelem Ruins
In the north-west of Caelid, near the named location Caelem Ruins, you can simply jump over the cliffs to the northern part of Caelid. This is easiest while riding your mount, you can speed up with and do a double-jump with .
That’s all there is to get to the north of Caelid.
