A Decision is the first subquest in Chapter 5: Act 2, Under a White Stone, an Archon Quest in Genshin Impact. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of A Decision Archon Subquest.
A Decision is unlocked automatically when you finish Home of the Hot Springs.

Reward*: 700 Adventure EXP, 30 Primogems, 44,000 Mora, 4 Hero’s Wit, 8 Mystic Enhancement Ore
Mission Description: Experience the Hot Springs with Mualani.
*If you are at Adventure Rank 60, your reward will not include Adventure EXP. Instead, you receive 7,000 more Mora.
Objectives:
- Wait until two days later
- Take a walk around the People of the Springs
- Go to the Stadium of the Sacred Flame
Starting Location: People of the Springs
Wait until two days later
Open your Paimon menu, scroll left and then down to the Time button.
When adjusting time, the game allows you to go two full days ahead in one adjustment.
Go around the clock enough so that the day reads “Day After Tomorrow.”
Take a walk around the People of the Springs
From where you finished Home of the Hot Springs, go directly southeast just a bit to trigger the next cutscene.
You learn that Kachina is back from the Night Kingdom. Though she fell in battle, the group came back victorious. So, you go to witness Kachina’s resurrection.
Go to the Stadium of the Sacred Flame
Use the Teleport Waypoint on the east side of the Stadium of the Sacred Flame. Then, head forward to trigger the event.
Despite the resurrection ceremony, Kachina does not resurrect. This opens an investigation headed by the Pyro Archon herself, Mavuika. She asks you to join the investigation.
You’re then treated to a cutscene with a drastic change of events and a spectacle of a fight scene.
Complete the cutscene to finish the subquest A Decision.
