Fallen Tears is the thirteenth subquest in Prologue: Act 2, For A Tomorrow Without Tears, an Archon Quest in Genshin Impact. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Fallen Tears Archon Subquest.
Fallen Tears is unlocked automatically when you finish the previous subquest, State of the Holy Lyre der Himmel. The other two subquests that unlock are Hidden Tears and Stolen Tears.

Requirement: Complete subquest State of the Holy Lyre der Himmel

Mission Description: Find another Dvalin’s Tear to restore power to the Holy Lyre der Himmel
Objectives:
- Go to the Thousand Winds Temple
- Defeat the monster guarding the ruin to complete the challenge
- Talk to Jean
Starting Location: Angel’s Share Tavern
This quest begins automatically after completing State of the Holy Lyre der Himmel.
Go to the Thousand Winds Temple
This quest asks you to go to the Thousand Winds Temple on the east coast of Mondstadt.
If you haven’t done any exploring, teleport to Windrise. Then, run north to the road and follow it to the northeast until you reach Thousand Winds Temple.
Defeat the monster guarding the ruin to complete the challenge
As you climb the stairs to the Thousand Winds Temple, the objective changes. Run up into the open area to find a Ruin Guard. Defeat it.
Obtain Dvalin’s Tear
Once you fell the Ruin Guard, a Precious Chest appears. Open it to pick up the Dvalin’s Tear.
Talk to Jean
Immediately after opening the Precious Chest, a short conversation begins with Diluc, Jean, and Paimon.
The Fallen Tears subquest completes at the end of this conversation.
