Freyr’s Gift is a Favor (Side Quest) for Freya in God of War Ragnarok. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Freyr’s Gift Side Quest. For an overview of all quests in the game see God of War Ragnarok All Favors.
Requirement: Access to The Forbidden Sands (complete Main Quest 6: The Reckoning)
Reward: 1000 Kratos XP, 250 Freya XP, Invoke the Storm
Objectives:
- Investigate the monument to Freyr
- Investigate Freyr’s Gift
Starting Location: Freyr’s Gift
Freyr’s Gift is automatically started after approaching the statue of Freyr in the northwest of The Forbidden Sands in Alfheim, which can be accessed after completing Main Quest 6: The Reckoning.
Investigate the monument to Freyr
Head up the ramp on the right and destroy the hive matter.
Head back down and use sonic arrows to open the hive door and destroy the hive matter behind it.
Walk around the path to pick up the light crystal, then take it up the right ramp to place it in the slot.
Head under the left light bridge and remove the crystal, then break the dense hive matter.
Put back the crystal, then head underneath the light bridge you crossed to enter the area and take that light crystal. Take it up and place it in the other slot.
Investigate Freyr’s Gift
Head down and collect Freyr’s Gift, and read the Lore Marker.
This finishes Freyr’s Gift Side Quest in God of War Ragnarok.

i have a bug here, place: the light cristal under the left light bridge.
The light cristal is not in the slot and I can’t put a light cristal in neither remove it. I can’t break the dense hive matter. what to do? A restart or last save point doesn’t help
