God of War Ragnarok How to Get Steinbjorn Armor Set

November 14, 2022 by PowerPyx Leave a Comment

The Steinbjorn Armor Set is a secret armor in God of War Ragnarok. This guide shows how to unlock it. You must find 4 hidden Troll Statues and use the Mystical Heirloom Relic to activate them, the Trolls drop materials that you use to craft the armor.

Step 1: Find and equip the Mystical Heirloom Relic

Before you can do this you must unlock the Draupnir Spear, an automatic story unlock from Main Mission 10: Forging Destiny.

Once you have the Spear, go to Midgard – Lake of Nine. In the south of the frozen lake is a yellow-glowing ice block you can blow up with the Spear. Behind this is the Mystical Heirloom, in the snow. Make sure you equip it under Weapons > Relics > Mystical Heirloom. You can activate it with :l1: + :circle: to activate Troll Statues. We must defeat the 4 trolls from the statues to get the crafting pieces for the armor.

Step 2: Activate the 4 Troll Statues, defeat the Trolls

You must go near the Troll Statues and activate the Mystical Heirloom with :l1: + :circle: . Then the statue will turn into a real troll boss, defeat all 4 of them. Each drops a crafting item called “Slumber Stone”. You need all 4 to craft the full armor set (2 for the chest piece, 1 each for wrist and waist armor).

Troll Statue #1
Located in Midgard – The Derelict Outpost.

Troll Statue #2 + #3
Two Troll statues are located next to each other in Vanaheim – Noatun’s Garden. You must enter this area by boat, the river leading to it is only open at day (can change daytime at Celestial Altars).

Troll Statue #4
Located in Alfheim – The Forbidden Sands.

Step 3: Craft the Steinbjorn Armor Set

After getting the 4 Slumber Stones from the Trolls, return to any blacksmith shop and craft the armor pieces. If you forgot to loot one, the materials will be placed in the blue chest at the blacksmith, so you can’t miss them.

And with this you are done and have the Steinbjorn Armor unlocked. You can keep upgrading it with other materials to make it stronger. Here’s what the armor looks like:

For all other armor set refer to God of War Ragnarok All Armor and for everything else see God of War Ragnarok Wiki & Strategy Guide.
