Guardians of the Galaxy Chapter 10 & Chapter 11 contain 6 Collectible Locations. This walkthrough will guide you to all collectibles in Chapter 10 & 11 in chronological order. Everything that’s needed for trophies and 100% completion is included: Outfits, Guardian Collectibles, Compendium Items, Archives.
All of the Collectibles are missable, the reason being that your progress reverts in Chapter Select to the progress you had when you played the Chapter for the first time (except Outfits which do stay). Finding missing items in Chapter Select doesn’t add them to your save later in the game. In other words, whatever you find through Chapter Select doesn’t get saved and doesn’t count towards trophies & achievements. Because of this it’s recommended to save in a different Manual Slot at the start of every Chapter. If you miss something you can reload the save to replay the Chapter right away. Make sure you save in a different slot each time, because the autosave automatically keeps overwriting the active Save Slot.
Chapter 10 – Test of Faith
Outfit – Gamora: Five Horsemen of the Apocalypse
After meeting with Mantis you’ll enter a cave. When crossing a river, there will be a waterfall to your right. Walk through the waterfall, behind it is this outfit chest.
Archive: A Foggy Theory
After a Slakebeast encounter (tiger body with squid face), continue on the only path forward and squeeze through the gap on the left. Then crouch under some crystals, jump up the first cliff, and this collectible will be on the ground.
Guardian Collectible: Mourning Candle
From the last Archive collectible, continue up the cliff to find this by some blue alien plants on your right after climbing up.
Trophy: Groot Canal
When you encounter the first Chargers (Ogrode monsters) that look like golems with brown heads, you can do this trophy. You need to weaken them (to about 15% health) and/or stun them. Then you need some luck that Groot will walk up to one of these enemies and grabs them by the throat. Then a / prompt needs to show up for Groot’s Call to Action. It only works after Groot has already picked up the enemy and lifted it off the ground. Groot won’t always do this. There are 3 of these Charger enemies here in total – if he doesn’t do it on the first two, simply restart the checkpoint and try again. It can take 10-15 restarts until he does it once.
Outfit – Rocket: Hero of Halfworld
After the encounter with the three Ogrode (big enemies that charge at you), you’re supposed to push some crystals aside to continue on. However, before doing so, check the opposite side of the area to find a hole in the wall for Rocket. Sending him inside will reveal a new crack in the wall you can squeeze through. Inside this area, shoot your ice blasters at the toxic gas leaks and then command Groot to raise the platform for you. Continue on until you can shimmy along a ledge leading to a purple container with this Costume collectible.
Guardian Collectible: Meditation Stone
A bit later into the Chapter, after you fight a 2nd group of Ogrode enemies. In the same area, you should notice a face statue with a grappling point for your gun’s Wind Element. Use your wind element to move the statue, then shoot the goo behind it and squeeze through the hole it leaves behind. This leads to a toxic gas area. Use Ice Element on the toxic gas leaks to make it past the chasm safely. At the end, on the right side of the cliff, is this collectible.
Archive: Pip’s Quips
From the last collectible, continue on the only path forward where the other guardians wait for you. Before squeezing through the next gap, there’s an archive on the floor straight in front of the gap.
Outfit – Groot: Annihilation: Conquest Suit
You will come to a dark cave that Groot illuminates for you. In the cave, stick to the right-side wall until you see a purple-lit crack in the wall you can squeeze through. Behind it is the outfit chest. It’s highly recommended to save in a different slot once you reach this dark cave, because it’s easy to get lost here and there’s a similar crack in a wall that leads outside and then there’s no way back.
Chapter 11 – Mind Over Matter
No collectibles
For all other Chapters, refer to Guardians of the Galaxy Collectibles Guide.
Asturgis says
There is another collectible between the first (outfit) and the second, literally one step below the Mourning Candle. It’s 6 feet away on the step below and it’s called A Foggy Theory. It’s an archive.

Thank you! Updated this 🙂
Arkonite says
In 1.03, a glitch occurs when passing across by the ledge to get Outfit “Hero of Halfworld” : When you reach the other side, Peter come back automatically to the ledge with no way to walk to the box to get the outfit. I try to reinstall the game in 1.00 to work around the issue and will feed back here if it worked.
Arkonite says
Can’t load a save made on a more recent version…
I hope they will fix this issue quickly, because it blocks the platinum.
ashp says
If you haven’t done it yet cause I encountered this bug like an hour ago, you can jump and dash across the gap instead of shimmying across
Mahmoud says
Yes i have same issue right now . I dont know how i can pass it
jorr1313 says
Yep, I had this glitch too. You can, however, jump and dash to get across instead. It’s super janky, but it works.
Mahmoud says
Outfit hero of the halfworld glitched on me i cant reach it . Everytime i try to reach it . It send me back to cliff
ImAPirateSoSueMe says
Lovely. A glitch preventing me from getting a collectible. Yeah, nevermind this platinum. Missable collectible trophies on top of that, utter trash.
This is on v1.03 . Can’t even revert to 1.0 because you can’t load saves from a more recent version. GG.

Ledant says
Just go to the left on that cliff a little bit and jump across I was able to make it.
Hopefully this glitch doesn’t prevent me from completing the game if there are any required spots that you have to cross like that
Guy says
Everyone trying to reach the Halfworld outfit and caught by the glitch, it is reachable. Point your joystick in the direction of the box (you’ll keep moving along the ledge) and dash for the brief second you get control of Star Lord after the ledge. It took a few annoyed attempts but you can break out of the magnet pull dragging you back to the ledge.
Neoginge Redux says
Just happened to me and after a few times of it turning me around and being unable to boost or jump, I used the element shot while walking forward and this gets you past the glitch.
Snake2410 says
You can also just point the camera at Star-Lord’s face and it should let you shimmy across. It worked for me anyways. I actually had a glitch that thankfully the checkpoint reload fixed when opening up the way to this costume. After blowing open the hole it wouldn’t let me shimmy through the opening to the toxic gas room. Reloaded and it did.
allmistakes says
For me it worked as well after a few tries.
What I did was that I stoped after the ledge crossing animation, put the visor on and scanned the 2 collectibles and then moved towards them while still having the visor on.
Hope this helps.
Do not move before as it may automatically turn the animation for the ledge crossing on.
Just some bad design here as one can only move in one direction on this ledge.
lmsgivea says
I have another issue with Hero of the Halfworld, groot won’t come into the cave to raise the platform for me …
Bob wilson says
I can’t even get through the gap to do it 🙁
Charlie says
Must have got lucky. I got Groot Canal on only my second checkpoint restart on the first group of Chargers!
Lyric says
Finally after ten restarts rocket got off groot long enough to grab one up.
Nicole says
Star lord won’t even go through the gap to reach the Hero of the Halfworld outfit.
PowerPyx says
It’s a relatively common bug (surprising this still hasn’t been patched out). Some of the users above commented a possible fix:
“You can, however, jump and dash to get across instead. It’s super janky, but it works.”
“Just go to the left on that cliff a little bit and jump across I was able to make it”
Otherwise your best bet may be to reload the last manual save (or even a manual save from the previous chapter and replaying a bit). Personally I didn’t have any issues and this bug definitely doesn’t affect everyone, it comes down to luck whether you get this bug or not.
