A Bird in the Hand is a Relationship Quest in Hogwarts Legacy. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the A Bird in the Hand mission.
Location: World Map -> Hogwarts Valley -> Brocburrow

Quest Level: Level 27
Requirement: Having Finished Relationship Quest: It’s in the Stars
Reward: 180XP
Mission Info: Dorran suspects he knows where the Snidgets were hidden. Poppy and I are meeting him southwest of Brocburrow to investigate it.
Objectives:
- Meet Poppy southwest of Brocburrow
- Talk to Dorran
- Find a way to enter the ruins
- Search for the Snidgets
- Defeat the Poachers
- Unlock the doors to the Snidget Sanctuary
Starting Location: A Bird in the Hand
Meet Poppy southwest of Brocburrow
Just talk to Poppy near Brocburrow.
Talk to Dorran
Follow the quest marker and talk to Dorran.
Find a way to enter the ruins
Place the moonstone on the pedestal near you. Two symbols on the door behind will glow now.
Look at the symbols on the door, then locate them both on the ground around the pillars. Now cast Accio and place one pillar on the opposite of each symbol on the ground.
If done correctly the door will open now.
Search for the Snidgets
Follow the given path in the ruins.
After the tree you crossed you will get to a blocked path, cast Incendio to destroy the barrier.
After the barrier, you will come to another blocked path.
To proceed you have to place two cubes on the ground. The first cube is to the left, around the tree. Cast Wingardium Leviosa to get the cube and place it on the left pedestal.
To get the second cube, cast Wingardium Leviosa on the crate near you, then turn around and place it on the opposite side. Then climb it up to find the second cube.
Cast Wingardium Leviosa again to get the cube, then place it on the ground on the right pedestal.
Now cast Incendio on the left cube and Glacius on the right cube to reveal the door.
Defeat the Poachers
After passing the door, some Poachers will attack you. Defeat them all.
Unlock the doors to the Snidget Sanctuary
After the fight, get to the door and cast Glacius on the lower half of the door, then open it.
This finishes A Bird in the Hand Quest in Harry Potter: Hogwarts Legacy.

Found answer on Xbox x series differently.tried others not working but,found this one to work. Used half mark by centaur. And half mark by wall lantern. Same wall as door with symbols and it opened.
