Father and Son is a Mystery side quest in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Father and Son Mystery side mission.
- Starting Location: The Vatican / Borgia Tower
- Requirement: Completed A Nun in Trouble
- Reward: 100 AP
- Quest Description: Giuliana handed over a key that unlocks a door somewhere in the Borgia Tower. She said it might lead to further clues about the cat mummy mystery.
Find the Locked Door
On the third floor of Borgia Tower, there is a door in the north wall that Giuliana’s Key will unlock.
You will be on a nice balcony, which will also have a door that can be unlocked with Giuliana’s Key. Before you go inside though, keep going to the end of the balcony and look around the corner to find some money in a locked box (120₤) and a medicine bottle.

Collect Evidence
Inside will be an unassuming attic office, that conceals some interesting operations.
Check both desks and their drawers. There is also an adventure book on one of the desks.

Mystery Note #11: Italian Poem (15 AP)
Mystery Note #12: Polybius Square Diagram (15 AP)
The first desk drawer has a poem with certain letters circled: I R I A T A S O. The second has a Polybius square diagram that gives each letter combination a number value.
So going in order IR = 5, IA = 8, TA = 7, SO = 3, giving us 5873 as the combination to the safe in the room. Unlock it and there is a lot to grab.
