In Kingdom Come: Deliverance (KCD) you can romance a girl called Theresa. She is the one from your village, who comes to pick up nails from your father at the start of the game. This guide will walk you through all the steps to court her.
First of all, it does not matter if you saved Theresa at the start of the game or not (after first main quest on the way to the horse you can hear her screaming for help). She will show up to rescue you later regardless.
Theresa Romance
- During main quest “Keeping the Peace” in Rattay you have to talk to a guard called “Nightingale” (unmissable story part). Upon talking to him you automatically unlock the side quest “Courtship” in your quest log. This cannot be missed!
- Return to Theresa, she is in the mill outside the western walls of Rattay. You can simply follow the quest marker, it will point you in the right direction.
- Talk to Theresa and ask her to go for a walk, you can also make her a gift. I gifted her jewelry and then went on a walk along the river with her. Just follow her during the walk and when you sit down, try to win all the dialogues (speech options work good, she has only speech skill level 2).
- Ask Theresa out again after a couple of days (let 3-4 days go by). The easiest option is to use the “Wait” function (press Touchpad on PS4) or sleep in a bed. You can only ask her out in the evening. This time she wants to go to a tavern. A drunkard will grab her and you will end up in a fistfight with him. Defeat him and bring Theresa back home afterwards.
- Once again, let 3-4 days go by and ask out Theresa one final time. This time she wants to play hide and seek in the barn. It doesn’t matter if you let her win the game or not. Afterwards you must run after Theresa to pick up the laundry outside. A thunderstorm has just started so you must run back to the barn to seek shelter.
- That’s it. This culminates the courtship with Theresa. After watching the romance scene you will earn the trophy “McLovin”.
Be aware this voids the trophy “Virgin”. If you don’t want to miss out on this trophy reload an older save game afterwards.

Do you know how the romance quests affect the Completionist trophy? Will the romance quests be available at the end of the game, so that you can finish the game and receive the Virgin trophy and then do the romance quests afterwards?
Do yo know what conditions have to be done for the Completionist trophy at all? Just main and side quests or also all activities? Furthermore, is there a guide on availability or missable quests for the Completionist trophy?

You have to do the romances for Completionist.
For Stephanie, just get the trophy of her quest, then reload and DO NOT put on the shirt (this way you’ll stay a Virgin). Stephanie’s quest you have to do quite early, I think it becomes unavailable during the Siege quest.
Theresa’s quest you can keep till the end.
I am in the epilogue now and it’s still available (have not beaten the story yet, but I’m about to).
So just get Theresa romance trophy now, then reload last save so you are a virgin again, then finish story and redo the last quest step after the story.

Hi Powerpyx, I have a question.
I started the romantic quest with Theresa. I have to meet her the third time… have I lost the trophy? If I started the quest and meeting her the first two times, I have lost the Virgin Trophy?
