NTE Disappearance Incident (Seeing and Believing) Walkthrough

Disappearance Incident is a side quest series in NTE (Neverness to Everness). It’s also called Seeing and Believing in the quest log after accepting it.

• Requirement: Finished Prologue I – Unforeseen Yet Foretold
• Reward: 400 Hunter Level EXP, 60 Annulith, 15000 Fons, 12 Senior Hunter Guide, 12 Colorless Dye, 30000 Beetle Coins

Start the quest by talking to Violet in the flower shop. He will inform you about a customer selling him an anomaly called Windbringer which was supposed to make all the flowers in the area bloom within 24 hours, which would have helped him win a competition for the Most Beautiful shop in Henkaku. Smelling a scam you are tasked to investigate the anomaly.

Talk to the Fruit Shop Owner / Talk to the Butcher Shop Owner

Your first task will be to talk to the Butcher Shop Owner, as well as the Fruit Shop Owner closeby. Both haven’t encountered the person you are looking for but instead provide you with some information about other shops you could check out instead so head there.

Check out the Shops Near the Square

In the Pop Toy Store you can talk to Ekko who will tell you about an incident a few days back in which she got attacked by a rude customer. Luckily the same person that sold the suspicious Anomaly to Violet stepped in and helped her. He also sold her another Anomaly, which in her case seems to work perfectly.

Check out the Shop Across the Square

Head to 9° Coffee next and talk to Grace there. Grace will tell you the polar opposite about the guy. Apparently he deceived her by pretending to be able to talk to deceased animals and played with her feelings for her pet ferret which died half a year prior. Just like in other cases the scammer left a box in the shop.

Go to the Vintage Shop / Sit down and organize your thoughts

Good Joe Vintage Shop next. Another Shop and another scam by the same person. After talking to the shop owner and the operatives you will be asked to sit down and organize your thoughts.

You will get to pick between the clues you gathered. Simply exhaust all options until it lets you advance to the next clue and go through all options. Don’t worry if you pick a wrong clue, it will simply tell you that it’s not correct and you can keep picking other clues until the game lets you advance.

Share clues with JTF / Return to the Flower Shop

Report to the JTF Officers and when asked who you think the perpetrator is, inform them it is the Delivery Service person in the area. They will agree with you and once you talk to Violet again the quest series will be finished and you will earn your rewards as well as the “Win Friends and Influence People” in-game achievement.
