Talk to Tungsten
Doris will have another story for you to explore inside the lamp. Talk to Tungsten once inside the lamp and he will allow you to watch a story which nobody seems to like. He wants you to go through it in order to decide if it should be kept or discarded.
Talk to the Down-and-Out Middle-Aged Man
You will meet a rough-looking guy who keeps talking about himself, calling himself Clarion, the Kokoro Rider. The guy seems delusional but suddenly you will watch a scene through his eyes.
Check the motionless Garuda / Check the Torn Paper / Check the critically Injured Garuda
Clarion ran into a group of thugs and is visibly scarred. Investigate the scene and you will find some beaten-up Garudas in the area. Some people will appear and will mistakenly think it was Clarion who brought justice to them. Clarion just runs with the idea of being a hero.
Go to Aurora Plaza to attend Clarion’s annoucement
Clarion will make an announcement about being a hero but the whole situation will backfire. He gets kidnapped by Garuda and beaten up as well. They want to uncover his scam but instead they get convinced into running the scam with Clarion to make profit out of it.
Follow Clarion Home / Investigate Clarion’s home
Follow Clarion to his place and you will once again see it through his eyes. Investigate the script on the second floor, the toy next to the stairs and the newspaper on the ground floor.
After a phone call from Nox, some people will appear at the door. A small kid will thank Clarion for saving him and this will give the scammer a morbid idea.
Go to the Abandoned Construction Site / Defeat Garuda at the Construction Site
Follow Clarion to the Construction Site and beat up all the enemies in there. Follow the path while fighting everyone in your way until you reach the top floor.
The totally crazy Clarion wanted to stage saving the kid again and beat the kid to death. This is too much even for the Garuda and they want to ditch Clarion. You appear at the scene and get attacked by them all.
Defeat Nox
Now you will have to defeat Nox and his goons. After doing that Clarion will try to convince you to run the scam with him but the protagonist will angrily refuse and take care of Clarion. After that scene talk to Tungsten and decide for yourself what to do with the story.
This finishes The Second Lamp / Heroes don’t always arrive in moments of glory side quest in NTE (Neverness to Everness).
