In Pokemon Legends Z-A, you will often need to switch between Day and Night time to participate in the Z-A tournament. The tournament qualification is only available at night. It’s also helpful for catching Pokemon that only spawn at certain daytimes.
The game doesn’t initially tell you that you can advance the time but it’s simple to do: First, you must play through Main Mission 8: Reaching Rank V. During this mission you are given a tutorial on how to skip time. Afterward you can interact with the wooden bench outside any Pokémon Center and choose ‘Kill some time here‘. Then confirm you want to wait till morning or nightfall.
It’s not available from the beginning, only after advancing through the 8th main mission you can advance time.
This allows you to farm money by participating in the Z-A Tournament every night. If you are missing any Pokémon in a Wild Zone it’s always good to revisit it at another daytime, too!
