Evolution: Tangela > Tangrowth (Level up while knowing Ancient Power attack)
Tangrowth Location in Pokemon Sword & Shield: This Pokemon requires the Isle of Armor DLC! In Isle of Armor you can find Tangrowth in the following locations:
- Requires Isle of Armor Expansion! Cannot be found in the main game.
- Evolves from Tangela (Level up while knowing Ancient Power attack). Tangela learns Ancient Power move at Level 24. If the Tangela you catch is already a higher level and doesn’t know the move, go to a Pokemon center and talk to the man on the left and pick dialogue “Remember a Move”. This allows you to learn forgotten moves and select Ancient Power from the list. Now level up Tangela one more time (can feed it XP Candy to level up instantly). Then Tangela evolves to Tangrowth.
- Forest of Focus
- OVERWORLD – Normal Weather – Special Encounter, can be found walking at the lake in the middle of Forest of Focus during Normal Weather.
