Chapter 3 starts at 40:00.
Chapter 3: After the Flood
The chapter starts on the beach from the start of the game. Now you can use the crowbar to pry open the fence door on the right. Go upstairs and climb the long ladder.
Enter the building on the left, grab the wheel from the storage room on the left.
Go back outside, put the wheel on the crank on the right side.
You must turn the wheel the open the sluice gate a little bit, but not all the way. You want to open it just far enough that you can jump over the sluice gate to the right side. Doing 1.5 wheel rotations to the right is perfect. Now jump over the gate to the right and interact with the console to open the second sluice gate.
Jump back over the sluice gate to the left. This time rotate the wheel all the way to open the sluice gate completely, so your boat can pass through it.
Backtrack to the beach and enter your boat. Drive it through the now-open sluice gate.
Drive forward through the dark sea area while avoiding the mines. After 6 mines that are close together, you drive into a flooded building.
Keep driving straight ahead until you drive through a door, then you enter a flooded library. Enemies start chasing you here. Take a left turn, then a right turn, then go full speed with 
+ 
to drive through a door.
You reach a brighter outdoor area. Take a left turn, then right turn, then drive to the right through a tunnel. Park the boat on the broken road to the left to go on land.
- Poster 6 (Secret 13)
After parking the boat, the poster is on the left wall.
In the same area, on the front right side, interact with the wall to climb up with your partner’s help. At the top, go into the destroyed building and interact with the body on the chair to get harpoons.
Backtrack to enter your boat again, you will automatically store the harpoons in it.
- Trophy “Naval Blazing” (Clear 20 naval mines in one playthrough)
Remember to destroy any sea mines you see during the rest of Chapter 3 and later in Chapter 6. You can use the harpoon while driving the boat with
+ 
/

. You will need to destroy 20 total throughout the game, but Chapter 3 won’t have enough to finish this yet. Just remember it going forward, then the trophy will unlock near the end of Chapter 6. There are 24 sea mines total in the game, so you can miss 4 and still reach the 20 required for the trophy. Most sea mines will be destroyed automatically on the way to collectibles or on the story path in plain sight. The slightly hidden optional ones will be pointed out throughout the walkthrough. - Coffin 2 (Secret 14)
After destroying the first sea mine with the harpoon and defeating a swimming enemy, turn right to reach a hotel in front of you (2 more swimming enemies here). BEFORE entering the hotel, take the flooded city path to your right. Here you will see two mines on the left side, blow them up with the harpoon. Drive the boat to the end of the area and enter the building in front of you through the hole. Just follow the path downstairs and you will see the coffin.
Backtrack to the boat, drive into the hotel. Take a left turn, the next corridor has an enemy in the water you defeat with teh harpoon. At the end of the corridor an enemy drops out of an elevator, kill him with the harpoon. Immediately after, another enemy appears in the left corner of a flooded corridor. You’ll want to drive backward with / 
when he spawns, otherwise he reaches your boat too fast and sinks you. This gives you enough time to hit him with the harpoon.
Keep driving forward, there’s another enemy in the water, then you reach a flooded restaurant with lots of enemies. Clear out all enemies in the water and on the chairs on the sides. You can drive backward again to have more time to aim at them.
Drive through the door at the end of the restaurant, follow the linear path. At the end a wall will break down and you leave the hotel to a sea on the outside.
- Coffin 3 (Secret 15)
In the middle of the sea is a big cannon on an island. Drive the boat to the right side around the cannon. Behind the cannon on the back left side of the sea, you will see some mountains and an alcove where you can drive through. At the end you will find the coffin.
- Critter 2 + Mask 6 (Secret 16)
After the previous Coffin, get back on the boat and park it on the beach on the far right side of the sea (to the right of the island with the big cannon). Beat up the seagulls and climb the long ladder to reach a field of flowers. Stick to the left side and move forward until you reach a scarecrow. Hit the scarecrow to make a Critter appear and kill it. After that you can pick up the mask that the critter drops.
Go forward until you reach a barn area. Squeeze through the wooden fence on the left and try to interact with the side door. It’s locked – a seagull will fly away. Backtrack by squeezing through the fence again. Now the seagulls will sit on the ground in front of the barn. Defeat them and pick up the key from the ground.
Squeeze through the fence once again, use the key on the side door to enter the barn.
- Hidden Statue 2 (Secret 17)
As soon as you enter the barn, take the right path to find the hidden statue. Before squeezing through the pigs.
Now take the left path and squeeze through the pigs. Exit through the left door (you can also find a big pig at the end of the barn but it’s optional and can be skipped).
Outside the barn head left, defeat the seagulls that attack you.
- Poster 7 (Secret 18)
You will enter a small cabin with a tractor. The poster is behind the tractor on the wall.
Go left over the bridge into the lighthouse. Go upstairs, on the top floor you find an NPC in a hanging cage. Stand below the cage until the 
/ 
interact prompt comes up to hoist up your partner. This will free the NPC but a big bird will start to chase you.
Run away from the big bird all the way to the barn. If you’re caught you will die.
In the barn the pigs will run away. Follow them through the gate on the right to a field.
In the field move forward until you see a small bus station, but don’t interact with it yet.
- Poster 8 (Secret 19)
To the right of the bus station, the poster is on the second pylon. Pick it up BEFORE sitting on the bench in the bus station and entering the yellow bus.
- Rest Your Legs 7
Sit on a bench in the bus station to progress the story, this counts for the trophy too. A short scene will play out here.
Afterward, enter the yellow bus and interact with any seat. This will end the chapter.

Couple things that could be added for completeness:
1. On the way to coffin #3 there is an enemy in the tunnel to kill.
2. There are 3 additional mines you can blow up on the right side of the area with the large canon around a stone outcropping.
3. You get the trophy “Tarred and Feathered” after escaping the bird at the barn gate with the pigs.
4. You should get the trophy “Hidden Among the Pines” when picking up Poster 8 at the end of the chapter, as long as you picked up all other chapter 1-3 collectibles on the way.
