In Silent Hill f, New Game+2 is available after completing the game with at least two full endings. This can be any combination of Endings 1, 2 and 3. Dark Shrine
Trophy: God Slayer
While on Ending 4, you will have a double boss fight at the end, against both Kyubi and Tsukumogami. Against Kyubi you will have fight with the Fox Arm, while against Tsukumogami you will have your regular weapons, including the Sacred Sword. Each boss will have three phases, with you alternating between the bosses after every phase. In order to get this trophy, you must defeat both bosses in under 10 minutes. Fortunately, there will be a checkpoint after every two phases (so after doing one phase for each boss), and dying and continuing does not add to the time. This means you can die as much as you want, so you can take time to learn the bosses in each phase before completing the phases quickly.
It is highly recommended that you prepare for this double boss fight by bringing multiple Sanity-restoring items such as Ramune, Divine Water or Inari Sushi, as these can quickly fill up your Bestial Form charge, which will make the Kyubi phases significantly easier and faster. For Omamoris, it is recommended that you use Rabbit, Boar, Serpent, Suzuran and Beetle. With this combination, you will automatically counter when possible, deal more damage against stunned enemies, be able to perform Perfect Dodges easier, and be able to counter by pressing
after a Perfect Dodge (which is especially useful for Tsukumogami). Even on Lost in the Fog action difficulty, this is quite manageable to get in under 10 minutes, but if you find you are unable to do it fast enough, you can lower the difficulty to Story after dying multiple times.
Ending 4: Ebisugaoka in Silence
This will unlock after being Kyubi and Tsukumogami.

Just a heads up that Rinko’s Diary 1 disappears as soon as you interact with the light that changes the room. There’s a new “Rinko’s Secret Diary” in the room afterwards but it’s in a different spot so i don’t know if it counts. Not sure if this matters or not i re-loaded a save when i looked at the screenshot and had no page in the same spot.
Just thought i’d point it out because if the secret diary version doesn’t substitute then interacting with the light too soon could result in needing a whole extra playthrough making this super missable.
Jacob says
Sakuko’s Diary 8 is not spawning for me. I’m in NG+3 atm, so definitely should
abraxas says
When I’m in NG+2, I don’t have to redo the Jinzu statues, but what about the Crimson Water quest? Is that already done as well or do I have to redo that so I’m able to purify the sword?
abraxas says
To answer my own question – the water is still crismon, so you don’t have to redo that part either (sorry, just played faster than you guys answered lol)
Christina says
For NG++, do you have to do the purification process all over again by making the water crimson with the bell ringing? Or does it port over from NG+ like the sword did?
Christina says
Nevermind. Figured it out myself by going to see if I could go through the purification process again by ringing the 3 bells, but the water was already crimson when I entered the room.
Archavia says
Crimson Water puzzle stays completed.
Emanon says
We are 4 Ema short to max out our stats after following this guide.
Mike says
Everything fine with this guide. Got last one exactly where guide says it gonna be.
Maxialma says
Can I pick up previous new game documents on new game +/new game +2?
Silentfan says
If I purified the sacred sword in NG+ playthrough, will it stay purified for NG+2? Or will I find it unpurified, therefore with limitless durability?
Archavia says
It will be unpurified again.
matrixman says
Yeah I have to play through the entire game again because I used the light to turn the room red which made the Rinko diary disappear, and I didn’t notice there were 2 in the classroom before continuing and losing the auto saves. At least it only took a couple hours to get here, still really annoying tho. The other pages that show up in the rooms dont count towards the trophy, collected everything I could and it didn’t pop.
Jamart08 says
You probably hate comments like this but at the beginning of new game plus 2 collectible guide, you said do not take or collect the pills do you mean do not collect them at all or do you mean at shu’s workshop just like the prior collectible guide.
Archavia says
As long as you don’t use any red capsules it should be fine. The warning about not picking them up in Shu’s Workshop was specifically for that trophy.
Masa says
Heads up ending 4 the feltchling key for the third seal, is used in the northern room of the third residence map, i believe its the parents room? Center of the map.
XxstarxkillerxX says
Wow, this final boss fight on lost in the fog difficulty is actual garbage despite all the upgrades I have…. And I’ve played and platted all of the soulsborne games with less and less difficulty with each one I played. I don’t care for this combat in a silent hill game. Everything else is great.
