Introduction

Welcome to the NTE – Neverness to Everness Trophy Guide! NTE is the newest game from Hotta Studio, who previously developed the gacha Tower of Fantasy released in 2021. NTE is designed similar to other open world gacha games like Genshin Impact, Wuthering Waves, or the recent Arknights: Endfield, but with a city setting. You can also drive around in vehicles, purchase properties, take part in a large number of minigames and interact with shops. Otherwise it is very structurally similar to those other gachas, having the same sort of account and character leveling setup, so any players familiar with those games should immediately understand the general progression of NTE.

Trophy wise it’s also similar to the other gacha games, not having the same insane levels of grinding that was required in Tower of Fantasy. You will need to complete story and side content to increase your account level and continually upgrade your characters to the maximum amount. Unlike the other games though there is some requirement for much longer daily play, due to a number of side requirements that require increasing Character Bond levels and receiving blessings/punishments over at least 60 times.

There is no endgame mode requirement, so the game is probably the easiest of any of the current gacha platinums available on PS5, it’s just grindy with some requirements.

Step 1: Complete the Current Story, Start Working on Daily Requirements

Your first step will be to start working through the main story. There’s technically only one story trophy for beating the first Prologue mission, but you should complete all story for the large amount of Hunter EXP that is given from each episode.

While doing this you should also check the requirements for Affinity Master :gold: , Neon Master :silver: , and Mhm! Mhm! Mhm!/Mhm? Mhm? Mhm? :bronze: as these are the trophies that involve real life daily activities and you will be spending the longest time with, so the sooner you start working on these the better off you will be. You can also start working on the below two Steps as soon as they become available if you want, and this would be recommended for at least the Cafe.

Step 2: Progress City Tycoon Activities

Once you’ve completed the story or want to progress the City Tycoon activities, you can start working on these as they become available. City Tycoon encompasses most of the minigames and side activities available in the game, giving gacha currencies and “Fons” (the currency used to purchase vehilces etc). Trophy wise the only thing you directly need to engage with is purchasing vehicles until you have 7 total, but increasing City Tycoon level and upgrading the Cafe is the most consistent way to passively earn Fons each day and will be a big help in gaining money for vehicles and to buy Bond items.

Step 3: Open World Cleanup and Daily Play

Once you have gotten your bearings with City Tycoon and completed all other available side activities at the time you are playing, the last thing you may have left is cleaning up the open world collectibles, along with playing each day to increase your Hunter Level to upgrade your characters, increase character Life Skills, and Bond levels. Currently it appears that without spending extra money you will need to play for around 3-4 months minimum specifically for Bond level 10 with 5 characters due to the daily gift limit.

NTE – Neverness to Everness Trophy Guide

Normal is an Anomaly
Obtain all trophies.
Platinum
Earn all other trophies in NTE: Neverness to Everness to unlock Platinum. Microtransactions/DLC are not required, everything is doable with the free-to-play content.
Variation Movement
Use Skill *300.
Gold
This trophy is awarded for using character’s skills a total of 300 times. Skill is by default bound to :r2: , and on each character can be used at any point followed by a short cooldown.

Progress toward this requirement can be tracked through the in-game Achievement menu under 8-Track Background Noise (Battle) > Variation Movement V.

Affinity Master
Reach Affinity Level 10 with 5 Characters Total.
Gold
This trophy is awarded for reaching Affinity Level 10 (maximum) with any 5 Characters. Affinity or Bond level is a largely cosmetic related side mechanic for each character, where raising their bond level gives extra currency, cosmetic reward such as costumes, and allows you to invite characters to do things like drive around with you, or invite them to live in your housing properties.

Bond is increased with Affection points, which are primarily gained by giving gifts to your characters in the Bond menu. You can give each character a total of 3 gifts per day, with an overall total of 10 gifts per day (not counting the item A Handwritten Letter which is only available through purchase or other limited means like the Warp Exchange). This means that you are very hard limited on how much you can increase Bond each day, and want to try and be optimized to do it in the quickest period of time. Each character requires a total of 56,000 Affection points to reach Bond/Affinity Level 10.

While you can give any gift to a character, each character has preferred items displayed in the Favorites list in their gift menu which will double the number of Affection points received. If you are giving a character 3 items each day that gives 200 Affection Points, it will take around 3 months per character not counting any extra items or Bond increases. For the characters you can invite to move in like Mint, you can also invite one a day to view a movie, as well as receive some one time bonuses by interacting with them in one of your properties and having them do Interact animations for the first time.

For the purposes of the guide, it is recommended to start doing this with the A Rank characters you can obtain for free through the story or frequently off the banners. You will have these characters for the longest overall, so can start working on Bond leveling early. Recommended items for each character are listed below, you can check the Favorites menu and select the item to view what location it is purchased from.

  • Adler – Golden Dawn (Blue rarity vase)
  • Aurelia – Fantasia (Blue rarity flowers)
  • Haniel – Fantasia (Blue rarity flowers)
  • Edgar – Boss’s Approval or HAHA (Green rarity stickers)
  • Mint – Waltz (Blue rarity flowers)

If you do want to level other characters such as whichever S ranks you pull instead, you can check their favorites and then buy 1 of an item to confirm how many Affection points they give. Typically flowers or flower related items are the cheapest overall giving 200 points, but some characters such as Fadia have a relatively cheaper item (Glittering Ice vase) that will give 400 points as it is purple rarity.

It said go for it!
Defeat enemies with Ultimate *500.
Gold
This trophy is awarded for defeating a total of 500 enemies using damage from your character’s ultimate attacks. Ultimates work similar to other combat gacha where your characters gain ultimate charge as you attack enemies, then the ultimate can be triggered using :triangle: to deal large amounts of damage to enemies.

Unlike most other trophies you cannot currently track the full requirement of this using the in-game achievement list. The achievement “Death is the Final Movement of All Life III” in the 8-Track Background Noise (Battle) category only tracks up to 200 total enemy defeats, and after that point you can’t currently tell how many total ultimate defeats you have obtained.

Lone Signal
Complete Anomaly Commission: Deep Blue Sorrow.
Gold
This trophy is for completing Anomaly Commission: Deep Blue Sorrow which is tracked under New Herland District. It’s available after unlocking Commissions in Prologue 2. You will be directed to drive to the middle of Nautili Tunnel in a car, where you will be teleported to an area where you fight the boss Sea Prisoner. After completing the commission you unlock the boss to be fought under the Anomaly Hunt category, giving materials required for the ascension of certain characters.

Fate’s Echo
Reach Divination Level 10.
Silver
This trophy is awarded for reaching Divination Level 10 at The Witch’s House. Divination level is increased by turning in Oracle Stones, which are a collectible that can be found all throughout the game world. In areas released with the 1.0 launch version there are a total of 214 Oracle Stones, of which you need to collect and turn in a total of 140 to reach Divination Level 10.

Upgrade 3 Orange Console Cartridges to Level 20.
Silver
Orange is the highest level of Console Cartridge and Modules that are available. You can start obtaining orange Cartridges through the Rabbit Hole Anomaly Zone once you have reached Hunter (account) level 30 from the third level and up of the fight difficulties.

These are then equipped through the Console menu on each character, and upgraded using either Manhole coins or other Cartridges. Upgrade a total of 3 orange Cartridges to level 20 to earn this trophy.

Brawl IV
Upgrade 1 Arc to Level 80.
Silver
This trophy is awarded for fully leveling any Arc to Level 80 for the first time. Leveling Arcs requires Beetle Coins, XP materials called Dyes which are used on Arcs to increase their level, along with specific sets of upgrade materials that are used to upgrade Arcs’ Ascension level. When you are starting out your Arcs’ max level is blocked by your current Appraisal Level, which is your overall “world level” that is determined by your Hunter (account) level. You will need to reach Appraisal Level 7 at Hunter level 55 be able to ascend Arcs to the 6th level, allowing them to then reach level 80.

Upgrading Ascension levels requires two different items: ones dropped from normal Anomalies (enemies) and ones dropped from the Anomaly Zone Bubble Can Factory and claimed using Character Pixels (account energy). You can view each character’s required materials in their Ascension menu, and point yourself either to normal enemies that drop the common materials, or location of the Bubble Can Factory.

Ultimate Anomaly Hunter IV
Upgrade 1 Character to Level 80
Silver
This trophy is awarded for fully leveling any Character to Level 80 for the first time. Leveling characters requires Beetle Coins, XP materials called Hunter Guides, along with specific sets of upgrade materials to raise the Ascension Levels (level caps).

When you are starting out, your character’s max level is blocked by your current Appraisal Level, which is your overall “world level” that is determined by your Hunter (account) level. You will need to reach Appraisal Level 7 at Hunter level 55 be able to ascend characters to level 80.

Upgrading Ascension levels requires two different items: ones dropped from normal Anomalies (enemies) and ones dropped from the specific boss Anomaly Hunts that you unlock through completing Anomaly Commissions, and are then able to be claimed using Character Pixels (account energy). You can view each character’s required materials in their Ascension menu, and point yourself either to normal enemies that drop the common materials, or the location of the Anomaly Hunt that gives the required boss drop.

Beetle Bounty
Obtain a total of 10,000,000 Beetle Coins.
Silver
This trophy is awarded for obtaining a cumulative total of 10 million Beetle Coins, meaning you don’t need a total of 10 million at one time. Beetle Coins are the currency primarily used to upgrade Characters, Arcs, and Console items. They are earned through most activities throughout the game, though if you specifically need to obtain Beetle Coins you can complete the EXP & Beetle Coins > Coinicles Anomaly Zone, as the primary award from this is a large amount of Beetle Coins.

Progress toward this requirement can be tracked through the in-game Achievement menu under Distorted Ferrite (Develop) > Entomologist.

Neon Master
Upgrade Life Skills 50 Times.
Silver
This trophy is awarded for upgrading Life Skills on your characters a total of 50 times. Life Skills are extra skills that specifically affect City Tycoon mechanics (typically related to the characters working in The Cafe by Origen) and in the case of Esper Zero (your main character) increasing Bond gains. Life Skills are upgraded using the Dreamless Seed item, which is used exclusively for Life Skills.

You can obtain a bunch of Dreamless Seeds from the Property Renovation Guide goals, phase rewards in the Cafe Management Guide, or traded in certain currency exchanges. The primary consistent way is by completing the daily Exploration Guide Participation goals where you will receive 4 each day from the 100 Participation score reward.

Each character requires a total of 54 Dreamless Seeds to upgrade to Life Skill level 5 (2 > 4 > 10 > 16 > 24). There is a second slot present on each character, but as of version 1.0 at launch, they don’t seem to be populated on any character so you would need a minimum of 10 characters to be able to upgrade skills 50 times. As more character become released and you obtain more then the total requirement would be lowered, as you wouldn’t need to fully max out Life Skill level on every character to reach 50 total. Because of this it is recommended that you max out Life Skill on Esper Zero (your main character) first, as their Life Skill increases Bond point gain on other characters. After that upgrade Life Skill levels on each character evenly so that you get increases across each character for lower amounts. If you are planning to play the game for a long time you will likely hit a point where you’ll have more Dreamless Seeds than you can actually use, but if you are trying to do this in the fastest way possible then you should spread the upgrades out.

Progress toward this requirement can be tracked through the in-game Achievement menu under A/B Flip/Side (City) > Max Out City Life!.

Ultimate Racer
Obtain 7 vehicles.
Silver
This trophy is awarded for obtaining a total of 7 vehicles. To purchase vehicles, you need to progress the City Tycoon side activity (quests listed under the purple Guide heading in the quest menu) to level 3 where you unlock races and the ability to purchase more vehicles. You can view the full list of vehicles through the garage, and by selecting “Purchase” on one you don’t own you will be directed to the Vehicle Dealership where it can be purchased.

You automatically obtain 1 through the story at the end of Prologue 2, then need to purchase the rest by going to the dealerships and spending Fons, which is the black and gold currency primarily gained through the City Tycoon mode. This is the biggest currency sink required for trophies, as you aren’t required to buy more than one property aside from progressing the extra goals in City Tycoon. If you only spend Fons on vehicles for this requirement then it will require a total of 2.95 million to buy the 6 cheapest vehicles after the scooter you receive through the story. Depending on how you enjoy playing the Pink Paws Heist mode (which is recommended to be played because it is very good for earning Fons) you can also buy the two vehicles obtained exclusively through this mode for 20,000 and 30,000 Pink Paws Coins each.

Speed Above All
Trigger Critical Dodge *200
Bronze
This trophy is awarded for triggering Critical Dodge a total of 200 times. Critical Dodge is performed by using dodge ( :r1: ) right before being hit by an enemy attack, typically denoted by the red flash before an attack happens. Correctly performing the dodge prevents you from taking damage, and allows you to perform a counterattack from the dodge animation.

Progress toward this requirement can be tracked through the in-game Achievement menu under 8-Track Background Noise (Battle) > Speed Above All IV.

First Ride
Obtain 1 vehicle.
Bronze
Story related, cannot be missed.

This trophy is awarded near the end of the second main episode Prologue II – Good Business, Better Treasure after leaving the camera shop when you are automatically given your first vehicle.

Homecoming Day
Acquire your first house.
Bronze
Homes can first be purchased starting from City Tycoon Level 5, where you are able to purchase the Wiener Apartments for 200,000 Fons. You are required to do this to progression further within the City Tycoon mode, so this will be the first house that you acquire.
Mhm! Mhm! Mhm!
Receive 30 Nacupeda’s Blessings.
Bronze
This trophy is awarded for receiving Nacupeda’s Blessing a total of 30 times. Both Nacupeda’s Blessing and Punishment are a daily mechanic that you can obtain by interacting with the Nacupeda’s Pool fountain located in the park on the west side of the Bridge Crossings region.

Each real life day you have the selection of two options, with “Make a Sincere Wish” awarding you with Nacupeda’s Blessing for the day, typically giving either a small buff or Mhm! Coins which can be used at the Arc Exchange in the shop.

Progress toward this requirement can be tracked through the in-game Achievement menu under Gravity Type IV (Gameplay) > Mhm! Mhm! Mhm!.

Mhm? Mhm? Mhm?!
Receive 30 Nacupeda’s Punishments.
Bronze
This trophy is awarded for receiving Nacupeda’s Punishment a total of 30 times. This is obtained by selecting “Coins, love ’em, grab some!” at Nacupeda’s Pool instead of the Blessing option.

Unfortunately this does not seem to count 100% of the time toward receiving the “punishment”, as sometimes you will just obtain a small amount of Beetle Coins, meaning you will need to take the Punishment option more than 30 times to actually receive the Punishment 30 total times.

Progress toward this requirement can be tracked through the in-game Achievement menu under Gravity Type IV (Gameplay) > Mhm? Mhm? Mhm?.

33729
Unlock 5 ReroRero Phone Booths.
Bronze
This trophy is awarded for unlocking a total of 5 ReroRero Phone Booths. These phone booths function as extra fast travel points on top of the Wertheimer Towers. They are automatically marked on the map in each region after you have revealed it by activating the Wertheimer Tower, so you just need to go to the location of any 5 to activate them and each the trophy.
Flip-Flopping Future
Perform 10 Divinations.
Bronze
This trophy is awarded for performing Divinations at The Witch’s House, located in the Bridge Crossings district. At The Witch’s House under the Fortune Reading option in Blackbird’s dialogue. You can then use the three Divination options each day, which will point you toward a hidden quest, give a minor buff for the rest of the day, or point to an unobtained Oracle Stone. You can do each of these once per day, so you will need to receive Divinations on at least 4 real life days to be able to perform 10 total.

Progress toward this requirement can be tracked through the in-game Achievement menu under Single Frame Funk (Interest) > Worldline Convergence.

Rising Hunter
Reach Hunter Level 25.
Bronze
This trophy is awarded for reaching Hunter (account) level 25.
Hyperdimensional Awakening
Reach Hunter Level 35.
Bronze
This trophy is awarded for reaching Hunter (account) level 35.

Account level functions similar to the way it does in most other gacha games, increasing through the gain of Hunter Level EXP which is earned through most activities throughout the game. Increasing your Hunter Level is what allows you to further upgrade characters after completing Ascension Limit quests, available every 10 levels starting from Hunter Level 20. Level 35 is only around halfway of how high you will need to level for all trophies, as you will need to reach level 60 to upgrade Characters and Arcs to level 80.

Upgrade 1 Orange Console Module to Level 20.
Bronze
Orange is the highest level of Console Cartridge and Modules that are available. You can start obtaining orange Modules through the Rewind feature in the character Console menu on the “Hard” difficulty once you have reached Hunter (account) level 30.

The Rewind feature uses the Bronze, Silver, and Gold coins that are obtained primarily through completions of the Rabbit Hole Anomaly Zone while you are trying to obtain Cartridges. “Hard” difficulty is how you obtain the orange rarity modules, and uses Gold coins.

These are then equipped through the Console menu on each character, and upgraded using either Manhole coins or other Modules. Upgrade any Orange Module to level 20 to earn this trophy.
