Silent Hill f All Endings Guide

Silent Hill f contains 5 Endings. Achieving the 5 Endings unlocks the following trophies / achievements:

• Ending 1: Coming Home to Roost 
• Ending 2: Fox’s Wedding 
• Ending 3: The Fox Wets Its Tail 
• Ending 4: Ebisugaoka in Silence 
• Ending 5: The Great Space Invasion!

Ending 1 is the regular ending and the only ending you can get during your first playthrough. All players will get this ending on their first playthrough.

Endings 2, 3 and 5 are New Game+ endings that can only be achieved on New Game+. These require interacting with items and performing steps that can only be done on New Game+.

Ending 4 is the final ending, which can only be done on New Game+2. This means it must done on a Clear Save File that has at least two of the three full endings completed on it – Ending 1, 2 or 3. Ending 5 is not considered a full ending, so this does not count for Ending 4. You can tell which endings you have completed on a Clear Save File by looking at the ribbon on the save file, it will have symbols on it for each ending that is completed.

In order to minimize playthroughs, you can use manual saves to manipulate the ending you receive. It will take a minimum of 3 full playthroughs to get all 5 endings, utilizing manual saves to get 2 of the endings with partial replays on New Game+. The ending you get will be locked in once stepping into the Shimizu Residence area.

Upon completing the game once, you will be able to view an Endings menu from the main menu. This will list all the available endings, alongside their requirements.

Ending 1: Coming Home to Roost

Ending 1 is the regular ending in Silent Hill f. All players will get this Ending upon completion of their first playthrough, and you will get this Ending on NG+ playthroughs if you don’t meet the requirements for any of the other endings.

Ending 2: Fox’s Wedding

Ending 2 is a New Game+ ending. In order to do it, you must do the following:

• Don’t use any Red Capsules for the whole game
• Purify the Sacred Sword OR Don’t take the Sacred Sword
• Pick up the Agura no Hotei-Sama

The Sacred Sword is a game-spanning puzzle that requires finding Key Items and placing them at Jizo Statues throughout the first five visits to Ebisugaoka. Agura no Hotei-Sama is a vial that can be collected in Main Hall behind an Inari-sama door. Purifying the Sacred Sword will require completing the Crimson Water puzzle in the same location that you find the Agura no Hotei-Sama, then cleansing the sword in Ebisugaoka Fifth Visit.

Ending 3: The Fox Wets Its Tail

Ending 3 is a New Game+ ending. In order to do it, you must do the following:

• Don’t use any Red Capsules for the whole game
• Acquire the Sacred Sword
• DON’T purify the Sacred Sword

The Sacred Sword is a game-spanning puzzle that requires finding Key Items and placing them at Jizo Statues throughout the first five visits to Ebisugaoka.

Ending 4: Ebisugaoka in Silence

Ending 4 is a New Game+2 ending. It will require having at least 2 full endings completed on a Clear Save File. You can tell which endings you have completed on a Clear Save File by looking at the ribbon on the save file, it will have symbols on it for each ending that is completed. In order to do it, you must do the following:

• Complete at least 2 Full Endings (Ending 1, 2 and 3 count, Ending 5 does not count as a full ending)
• Don’t use any Red Capsules for the whole game
• Purify the Sacred Sword
• Offer the Brooch to the Ancient Jizo Statue

The Sacred Sword is a game-spanning puzzle that requires finding Key Items and placing them at Jizo Statues throughout the first five visits to Ebisugaoka. Purifying the Sacred Sword will require completing the Crimson Water puzzle in an area behind an Inari-sama door in Main Hall, then cleansing the sword in Ebisugaoka Fifth Visit. The Ancient Jizo Statue can be found in Ebisugaoka Fifth Visit.

Ending 5: The Great Space Invasion!

Ending 5 is a New Game+ ending. Ending 5 is not considered a Full Ending for Ending 4. Completing this ending will NOT unlock any of the difficulty related trophies.

In order to unlock this ending, you must do the following:

• Listen to the UFO Radio Broadcast
• Read all 3 of the “The Great Space Invasion” Movie Posters in order
• Read the “The Great Space Invasion” Movie Review

The UFO Radio Broadcast can be found during Ebisgaoka First Visit, while the 3 Movie Posters and Movie Review can be found during Ebisugaoka Third Visit.

Completing this ending will allow you to get a new weapon – the PP-8001 – by interacting with the first “The Great Space Invasion” Movie Poster on a save file with this ending completed on it.

How to get all Endings in 3 Playthroughs

While you will need a minimum of 3 Playthroughs in order to get Ending 4, you can minimize your playthroughs by utilizing manual saves to get multiple endings completed on a single playthrough. This will allow you to get the trophies for all 5 Endings in only 3 playthroughs, with some partial replays. Do note that this is specifically to get the trophies in 3 playthroughs, if you want to have all 5 Endings completed on a single save file (so that all 5 Endings appear on the save file banner), you will need to do full playthroughs for each ending.

Playthrough 1: Ending 1

Simply complete the game for the first time and you will unlock this ending. Make a Clear Save File, then load it to start New Game+.

Playthrough 2 (New Game+): Endings 2, 3 and 5

Follow New Game+ Collectible Guide. This will provide the location of all Jizo Statues for obtaining the Sacred Sword, how to obtain the Agura no Hotei-Sama, how to purify the Sacred Sword, and where to find all the items for Ending 5. You will need to make manual saves before triggering Ending 5 and before purifying the Sacred Sword, as these will allow you to continue immediately after Ending 5, and then reload to get Ending 3 after finishing Ending 2. Make a Clear Save File with at least two Full Endings completed (Ending 1 and Ending 2 or Ending 1 and Ending 3), then load it to start New Game+2.

Playthrough 3 (New Game +2): Ending 4

Follow New Game+2 Collectible Guide.

• Obtain the Sacred Sword, which can be found at any of the Jizo Statues (except the first) or at the Thousand Year Cedar where you got it on New Game+.
• Purify it at the Inari-sama Shrine during Ebisugaoka Fifth Visit. The Crimson Water puzzle will not need to be completed again.
• Find the Ancient Jizo Statue during Ebisugaoka Fifth Visit and offer the Brooch to it.

Once you have done all the required steps, you will be locked into Ending 4 and get the last ending upon completion.
