Chapter 8: Blasphemy is the eighth section of Valor Mortis and occurs in the University region. This walkthrough will guide you through all collectibles available in the Blasphemy section. Everything that’s needed for trophies and 100% completion is included, nothing is missable and you can return to all areas at any time.

University
This area is very maze-like, which multiple paths that wrap back around to the initial area. There are very few actually required items though, and they are typically in obvious spots.
Empty Ferrofluid Flask #7
Lantern: University > Main Hall
Progress through the only available path until you reach the room with the staircases and the statue in the middle. Go up the stairs to reach the back of the stairs to the right of the statue where there is a weak point you can shoot, revealing a switch. Pull the switch to move the statue, where a chest containing this is behind it.
Amber #43: Payback
Lantern: University > Main Hall
Progress until you reach the circular room where you can climb to the rooftop. Instead of doing that, climb down the ladder to the area below where there is a cannon miniboss. Defeat it to receive this Amber.
Key Item: Library Key
Lantern: University > Main Hall
Progress through the area until you reach the elevator. Instead of riding it, go down the hallway to the left, then right to an area with the walls you can open and close. Progress through this small area sticking to the left, and in a small area blocked off by a wall you can pick up the Library Key from the ground. This opens some of the doors in this area.
Transmutation #3: Shield
Lantern: University > Main Hall
Automatically obtained from story progression. When progressing through the library area and you jump across chandelier, then enter a big open room where this is obtained at the top of the stairs. Allows you to cross poison areas as well as block enemy damage.
Ferrofluid Flask Power Upgrade #15
Lantern: University > Main Hall
Go back to the prior area where you jumped across the chandelier, and go the opposite direction through the poison hallway. Continue down the next elevator, then in the lower level library go to the right where there is the big room with the statue. Pick up the item in front of the statue to remove the vines, then this is in a chest behind the statue.
Masterwork Firearm Parts
Lantern: University > Main Hall
Continue out the back of the library area into the lecture hall with the hanging bodies. At the back under the balcony is a chest with this inside.
Amber #44: Warrior’s Fury (Duplicate > Level 3)
Lantern: University > Lift Shaft
Continue through the underground area until you reach the room with all of the square cages. Defeat the dog miniboss in this room to receive the Amber.
Key Item: Lift Shaft Key
Lantern: University > Lift Shaft
In the same room, at the back beside a cage on the ground. Used to open the gate to the lift in the prior room to progress.
Amber #45: Lunatic’s Grasp (Duplicate > Level 3)
Lantern: University > Lift Shaft
Continue into the next hallway where there is poison on the lower level and you are meant to jump across the platforms. At the end on the lower area are two explosive chests. The left chest contains this Amber.

Lantern: University > Lift Shaft
Continue into the next hallway where there is poison on the lower level and you are meant to jump across the platforms. At the end on the lower area are two explosive chests. The right chest contains this upgrade.
