There are 4 Braille Text Locations in Vampyr. You must find the Braille Documents for Mason Swanborough’s side quest (investigation) “Occult Oculus”.
They are also needed to open the door to the safehouse east of the cemetery and to find the collectible in there.
Occult Oculus Quest Start
You start the quest by talking to the citizen called Mason Swanborough. He’s where the red circle is on the screenshot. There he lives on the upper floor. I went there in Chapter 6 but it’s probably possible earlier.
It’s also worth noting that you can find all Braille Texts BEFORE ever meeting Mason or triggering his quest. They are in fixed locations and spawn regardless of whether or not you have the quest. When you hand the 4 Braille Texts to Mason he can translate the code to the safehouse door for you. We’ll get to that in a moment, let’s locate the Braille first.

Braille Text #1
In Cadogan Bates’ house (Whitechapel). On his bed. Enter through the door (Screenshot #1 White Marker + #2). Then head upstairs and clear out the monsters. Now you can open the door to where Cadogan is hiding (Screenshot #3) and the Braille text is on the bed to his right (Screenshot #4).
Braille Text #2
In Docks district, on a corpse. See the white marker on Screenshot #1, it’s the corpse on the right side in Screenshot #2.
Braille Text #3
In the dress shop of the shopping mall in West-End district. See white marker on Screenshot #1. Then teleport up the right side (Screenshot #2), enter the dress shop (Screenshot #3) and go downstairs. There on the corpse (Screenshot #4) you find the Braille text. The earliest opportunity to visit West-End district is in Chapter 4!
Braille Text #4
In the sewers to the east (right) of the Cemetery (white marker shows the entrance in Screenshot #1, go through the gates shown in Screenshot #2). Inside the sewers teleport up the part where two enemies are standing (Screenshot #3). This brings you to a tunnel and on the left side of it a piece of the wall is broken (Screenshot #4). There you find a drawer that has the Braille text inside of it (Screenshot #5).
Return to Mason Swanborough
Go back to Mason, the guy where the quest started. Hand him the 4 Braille documents and he gives you a document with the code to the safehouse.
Open the Door to Safe House (via Sewers)
Go back to where you found Braille Text #4. At the very same spot is the locked door on which you must use the code Mason translated for you. Through this door you can enter the safehouse. Kill the enemy inside to get a diary and also be sure to search the cabinet upstairs to get a collectible from it “The Legendary Vampires: The Blood Goddess Heresy”.
Give Chemist Diary to Mason Swanborough / Keep It
You can return to Mason once more and hand him the diary.
This concludes the Occult Oculus investigation and you now have access to the secret safehouse and its collectible.

This quest is infamously glitched apparently as some people are having the same problem as I have where giving 4 braille texts to Mason doesn’t get you the code for the door and just shows up as 4/4 on the quest

thats what i tought but if it shows up as 4/4 it means you have to find the 4th. its not bugged.

To get that task done you have to open and look to 4 texts 1 by 1 in the inventory but mine glitched because i couldi’nt even look to the 4th because i dont even know why my 8 and 0 didint work and bugged in the game (0 and 8 does switch to the second page where the old letters and stuff are — and the forth are in because i get it in begining of the game without i notice )
i think doing the task from the start and opining all the texts and letters will fix it for sure

4/4 means you’ve found/given 3 of the 4 and you are on the 4th one to find/give. Now I know I had found all 4 on both playthroughs but when I went to give all 4, Mason only acknowledged 3 of the 4. I then went back to all 4 locations and 1 of the 4 seemed to have respawned (#1 above which was the first one I know I had already picked up.) I gave it to Mason and the quest continued.
TL;DR: If Mason acts like you’ve only given him 3, go back and recheck all 4 locations.

You are correct !
I had the glitch too. I had all 4 papers but when i gave them to Mason he only counted 3 and the quest kept showing i still needed the 4th.
I went back to all the locations and 1 had respawned there. When i went back to Mason he accepted it and the quest continued as normal.

Go in the sewers, entrance closest to where it shows the white head is on the map. Look up. It’s a shadow jump, and a guy or two then go up stairs to kill the small scientist.
