Shadow of the Sacred Mountain is a side quest in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. This walkthrough will guide you through all areas of the Shadow of the Sacred Mountain Side Quest.

Requirement: having completed In Search of the Immortal Wizard
Reward: Oil of Awakening x1, Bear Gall x1, Rank 3 Leather x3, Wooden Poled Spear x1, Cao Cao reinforcement
Battle Flag 1
From Battle Flag 1, continue along the stream to find a stronger version of the Shuigui enemy type.
Defeat it and then continue to the end of the stream. Here, go left, defeat the Huoshu and then climb up to the shrine.
Here is a Changgui corrupting the Battle Flag. Defeat it and then raise Battle Flag 2.
Battle Flag 2
From Battle Flag 2, head downstairs and you’ll find a new enemy type called Demon Spider. Defeat all Spiders and then check the wooden alcove to find a Shitieshou.
Continue on the path with the destructible bamboo and you’ll get to Marking Flag 1.
From here, return to Battle Flag 2 and cross the bridge to find more Demon Spiders.
On one of the rocks here is the Marking Flag 2.
Now walk along the bridge again, stop halfway through and look down and to the right to find a Zhuyan enemy. Lock on him and then perform a drop attack to chip away at his health, then finish him off.
Now walk along the river to find Battle Flag 3.
Battle Flag 3 and Suanyu Boss Fight
Immediately after interacting with Battle Flag 3 you’ll spawn a boss fight against a Suanyu. This boss fight is more annoying than difficult because the Suanyu easily blends in with the dark environment and, as such, it can be a bit tricky to see and deflect his attacks. Generally, he uses stomping and spinning attacks with the occasional shooting of feather projectiles and summoning of lightning bolts. Try to deflect as much as possible and use your ally to overpower him. Once he’s overborne, he’s quite fast to take down. Defeating the Suanyu ends the mission.
