Impa and the Geoglyphs is an optional Main Quest in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (TotK). This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Impa and the Geoglyphs story mission.
Requirement: Started Main Quest: Regional Phenomena.
Quest Giver: Cado
Starting Location: New Serenne Stable in Central Hyrule
Reward: Memory 03 “Where Am I?”
Quest Info: You saw Cado at New Serenne Stable and told him about your research for Princess Zelda. He said you should meet with Impa, who is at some ruins very close by. She may have information about Princess Zelda’s whereabouts.
Objectives:
- Talk to Impa
- Repair Balloon and Fly Up
- Recover Memory from Geoglyph
Starting Location: Impa and the Geoglyphs
Impa and the Geoglyphs is an OPTIONAL main quest. It’s not marked on the map anywhere so it’s easy to overlook. It starts at New Serenne Stable in the north-west of Central Hyrule, by talking to Cado, the old man standing next to a donkey at the road in front of the stable.
Talk to Impa
Cado will point you to Impa who is in the meadow north-east of the stable. It will be marked on the map, go talk to Impa.
Repair Balloon and Fly Up
Use Ultrahand on the broken Balloon to the right of Impa. Put it on the carrier next to Impa.
Afterward, talk to Impa again and pick dialogue “Sure!”, then he will enter the balloon.
Place a Flint on the floor next to the wood and hit it to make a fire. You do this by opening the inventory > scroll over Flint > press “Hold” > 
to return to game > 
to drop it next to the wood > hit it with a sharp weapon like a sword. Grab the torch to the left of Impa and hold it in the fire.
With the burning torch in hand, join Impa in the ballon. The fire will fill the balloon with hot air and it will fly up in the sky. A cutscene triggers when you are high enough.
Recover Memory from Geoglyph
After Impa talks to you, glide down to the right “eye” of the geoglyph.
You can press to examine the right eye from the ground.
This triggers a cutscene and completes the quest. As a reward you get Memory 03 “Where Am I?” and it automatically starts Main Quest: The Dragon’s Tears.
This finishes Impa and the Geoglyphs Main Quest in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
