Vegeta (SSGSS) is an unlockable character in Dragon Ball FighterZ.
There are two ways how you can unlock him:
- Method #1: Earn 300,000 Zeni in total. You get a lot of Zeni by playing through the Story. You can also farm Zeni in story mode by equipping the skill “Victory Zeni Up” and replaying chapters you’ve already finished. After beating the story for the first time you can start a new game in hard mode which earns you even more Zeni. You also get lots of Zeni from winning the Arcade and completing all characters’ combo challenges in practice mode. Practically anything you do earns Zeni but those are the fastest ways.
- Method #2: Beat Arcade’s “Gravity Spaceship Course” with A-Rank or S-Rank on hard difficulty. To unlock hard difficulty you must first beat the course on normal difficulty (it consists of 5 matches in a row). To get A-Ranks you must win quickly and have all your characters survive the match. Also finish the match with a Meteor Attack to get bonus points and score S-Ranks. Your overall rating at the end needs to be A-Rank or better.
Either option will unlock SSGSS Vegeta so pick what’s easiest for you. Earning 300,000 Zeni will happen automatically over time but it’s the more time consuming method. If you want to put your skills to the test, try the second method in the Arcade (quicker but much more challenging).
It’s well worth the work, Vegeta SSGSS comes with a unique moveset and new supers/meteor attacks that are different from normal Vegeta.
