Remnant 2 All Trait Locations

Remnant 2 contains 32 Traits. Traits are special passive abilities that provide unique bonuses and buffs to your Archetype. Below is a list of all Traits with their locations and how to unlock them:

1. Ammo Reserves: Gunslinger Archetype’s Trait. Unlocks for all Archetypes after reaching level 10 with the Gunslinger.
2. Amplitude: unmissable, story-related unlock. Reward for defeating the horde that gives you access to the Biome Portal Key.
3. Arcane Strike: Losomn > Harvester’s Reach. Defeat all beasts that erupt from the 3 bone heaps found in the area.
4. Barkskin: Yaesha. Choose all empathetic answers during Meidra’s morality quiz.
5. Blood Bond: Yaesha. Unlocks for defeating the Root Nexus boss.
6. Bloodstream: Yaesha. Choose all selfish answers during Meidra’s morality quiz.
7. Endurance: Core Trait, automatically unlocked after the tutorial.
8. Expertise: Core Trait, automatically unlocked after the tutorial.
9. Fitness: N’Erud > Vault of the Formless. Unlocks for completing the horde event.
10. Flash Caster: Archon Archetype’s Trait. Unlocks for all Archetypes after reaching level 10 with the Archon.
11. Footwork: N’Erud > Terminus Station. Unlocks for completing the Train event.
12. Fortify: Engineer Archetype’s Trait. Unlocks for all Archetypes after reaching level 10 with the Engineer.
13. Glutton: Losomn > The Great Hall. During the Feast event, eat or be eaten by a co-op partner.
14. Handling: Root Earth > Ashen Wasteland. Unlocks for completing the horde event.
15. Kinship: Handler Archetype’s Trait. Unlocks for all Archetypes after reaching level 10 with the Handler.
16. Longshot: Hunter Archetype’s Trait. Unlocks for all Archetypes after reaching level 10 with the Hunter.
17. Potency: Alchemist Archetype’s Trait. Unlocks for all Archetypes after reaching level 10 with the Alchemist.
18. Recovery: Losomn > Oracle’s Refuge. Find the two lost Dean children in the area, then talk to them. After they’ve bowed, follow them back to Oracle’s Refuge and defeat any mobs if needed. When they’re both back, talk to the elderly lady with the spindle to get the Trait.
19. Regrowth: Summoner Archetype’s Trait. Unlocks for all Archetypes after reaching level 10 with the Summoner.
20. Resonance: N’Erud > Dormant N’Erudian Facility. Have a co-op partner kill you via the Purge Event. Only the player dying from the Purge will get the trait.
21. Revivalist: be revived 15 times by a co-op partner or the Handler’s Very Good Boy.
22. Rugged: Yaesha > Forgotten Field. Destroy the Root Nexus and defeat the horde, then release and talk to the NPC.
23. Scholar: reward for killing Annihilation on any difficulty in Campaign mode.
24. Shadeskin: Losomn > Butcher’s Quarter. Complete the Burning Man event.
25. Siphoner: N’Erud > Dormant N’Erudian Facility. Defeat all enemies in the area before the time runs out.
26. Spirit: Core Trait, automatically unlocked after the tutorial.
27. Strong Back: Challenger Archetype’s Trait. Unlocks for all Archetypes after reaching level 10 with the Challenger.
28. Swiftness: Explorer Archetype’s Trait. Unlocks for all Archetypes after reaching level 10 with the Explorer.
29. Triage: Medic Archetype’s Trait. Unlocks for all Archetypes after reaching level 10 with the Medic.
30. Untouchable: Invader Archetype’s Trait. Unlocks for all Archetypes after reaching level 10 with the Invader.
31. Vigor: Core Trait, automatically unlocked after the tutorial.
32. Wayfarer: unlocked by defeating the second horde boss on Root Earth.
