Starborn is the 7th main mission in Starfield. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Starborn main quest.
- Starting Location: Star System: Volii > Planet: Volii Alpha
- Quest Giver: Walter Stroud
- Requirement: Complete All That Money Can Buy
- Reward: 300 XP, 5000 Credits, Calibrated Constellation Space Helmet
- Quest Description: We’ve been ambushed by a group calling themselves the Starborn. They’re demanding we surrender the Artifact.
Objectives:
- Surrender the Artifact OR Grav jump to anywhere
- Talk to Noel
- Attend the lodge meeting
- Talk to Sarah
- Add the artifact to the collection
Surrender the Artifact OR Grav jump to anywhere
This mission starts immediately after you take off from Neon. You’re stopped by a strange ship, who demands that you give them the Artifact you just obtained. Your choice is either to agree to give it to them, or decline and quickly grav-jump away. You can opt to attack their ship, but it’s quite high level relative to others you’ve encountered so far in the story, so you’re likely to be immediately destroyed if you try that.
Talk to Noel
Whichever option you choose, make your way back to the Lodge and speak with Noel.
Attend the lodge meeting
Wait around while the Constellation members have a meeting to discuss what you just encountered.
Talk to Sarah
After the meeting finishes, you’ll automatically speak with Sarah about the new info. You can respond here however you like, the only outcome is different effects on Companion relationship levels.
Add the artifact to the collection
If you choose to keep the Artifact instead of turning it over, you now need to place it on the pedestal to complete the mission.
This finishes Starborn in Starfield.
