Further Into the Unknown is the 8th main mission in Starfield. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Further Into the Unknown main quest.
- Starting Location: Star System: Alpha Centauri > Planet: Jemison > Landing Site: The Lodge
- Quest Giver: Vladimir Sall
- Requirement: Complete Starborn
- Reward: 750 XP, 10200 Credits
- Quest Description: Vladimir has given me locations he believes could hold Artifacts.
Objectives:
- Talk to Vladimir
- Go to [two random locations]
- Find the Artifact on [two random locations]
- Add the Artifacts to the collection
- Talk to Matteo
- Talk to Vladimir
Talk to Vladimir
Vladimir has a couple of new artifact locations for you, so go speak to him at the Lodge.
Go to [two random locations]
Vladimir gives you two locations, which you can travel to in whichever order you like. These are random for each playthrough, so you’re not guaranteed to have the same locations as any other player or in a subsequent playthrough. They are in the repeatable open-world locations though, so they may be the same sort of locations you’ve encountered before in your playthrough.
Find the Artifact on [two random locations]
In whichever order you like, head to the two locations and pick up the artifacts. These times when you pick up the artifacts though you will be attacked by Starborn enemies, who can turn invisible for a short period while attacking. You can spot them with your scanner if you need help determining where they are.
Add the Artifacts to the collection
Once you’ve obtained both Artifacts, head back to the lodge and interact with the pedestal to add them to the collection.
Talk to Matteo
After the Artifacts are placed, you’ll automatically talk with Matteo. Answer him however you like.
Talk to Vladimir
You then talk to Vladimir once more to complete this mission.
This finishes Further Into the Unknown in Starfield.
