In Their Footsteps is the 13th main mission in Starfield. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the In Their Footsteps main quest.

- Quest Giver: The Hunter
- Requirement: Complete Unity
- Reward: 750 XP
- Quest Description: I have arrived at Oborum III. The Hunter’s ship, the Scorpius, is here. Time to get answers.
Objectives:
- Hail the Scorpius
- Dock with the Scorpius
- Talk to the Hunter
- (Optional) Talk to the Hunter/Emissary
- Leave the Scorpius
- Talk to the Emissary
Hail the Scorpius
This mission starts as soon as you enter the orbit of Oborum III. You’re hailed by the Hunter, whose ship is in the planet’s orbit. Speak with them and agree to speak with them.
Dock with the Scorpius
Target the ship and dock with it to enter.
Talk to the Hunter
Inside the ship, head over and speak with the Hunter, who is waiting with the Emissary. Respond to them however you want in this conversation.
(Optional) Talk to the Hunter/Emissary
After the initial conversation is finished, you can interact with them both again to get further information if you wish.
Leave the Scorpius
Once you’re done speaking with them, make your way back towards the ship entrance.
Talk to the Emissary
You’ll be stopped on the way out by the Emissary, who stops you and gives you a key on the way out which is needed for one of the next missions.
