Resident Evil Requiem is divided into 4 linear main areas with several sub-areas: Wrenwood, Rhodes Hill, Raccoon City, ARK. There is no Chapter Select and no Free-Roam after the story. However, there are 12 manual save slots and if you keep one from the start of each area you can reload these to quickly return everywhere. There are 4 difficulties: Casual (Easy), Standard (Modern), Standard (Classic), Insanity.
Insanity difficulty is unlocked after beating the game once on any difficulty (Casual is enough). The difference between Modern and Classic modes is that Classic requires Ink Ribbons to save the game.
A 100% Playthrough on Casual or Standard difficulty takes around 10-15 hours if it’s your first playthrough, but subsequent New Game+ Speedruns can be done in about 3-4 hours.
