007 First Light Trophy Roadmap

  • Estimated trophy difficulty: 2/10
  • Approximate amount of time to platinum: 20 hours
  • Offline Trophies: 33 (2trophy, 11trophy, 20trophy) – Everything related to Story, Combat Trophies, Collectibles can be done offline
  • Online Trophies: 5 (1trophy, 1trophy, 3trophy) – Everything related to TacSim is online only
  • Total Trophies: 38 (1trophy, 3trophy, 14trophy, 20trophy)
  • Number of missable trophies: 0
  • Glitched trophies: 0 – however, some trophy unlocks can be very delayed, especially collectibles and TacSim Level 3. There are also reports of collectible trophies not unlocking at all but this is rare (works fine for most players). As a precaution, keep a PS+ backup before collecting the last collectible of any type, if a trophy doesn’t unlock you can download the save, go offline and collect it again. Disconnecting the console from the internet and playing completely offline seems to help.
  • Does difficulty affect trophies?: No, can do everything on the easiest difficulty “Novice”
  • Minimum Playthroughs: 1
  • PS4/PS5 Autopop, Save Transfer, Crossbuy: No, game doesn’t have a PS4 version
  • Free-Roam / Level Select after Story?: Yes, there is still Chapter Select, can replay everything
  • New Game+ Mode?: No
  • Supports Manual Saves?: No, only 1 Autosave (but 5 profile slots to start new playthroughs without losing progress from old playthroughs)
  • Release Date: May 27, 2026

Introduction

Welcome to the 007 First Light Trophy Guide! This is a very easy and straightforward platinum. Half the list are automatic story trophies that can’t be missed. You must find all 92 Collectibles. There is chapter select so you can still get anything you missed. There is no collectible tracker by chapter, only by type when pressing Touchpad (unavailable in certain story sections). The combat trophies should come naturally during your playthrough, but they can also be done via chapter select. Lastly, there are 4 trophies tied to the online mode “TacSim”. Escalations are unlocked after Chapter 6: A Night Out. Operations are only available after finishing the main story. 007 First Light is made by the same studio as the Hitman games and features similar gameplay elements, but with a more linear story-focused structure. The story is split into 17 linear chapters and takes around 20 hours. The TacSim online trophies are extremely easy and quick, they can be done in a few minutes.

General Note: 9 of the bigger chapters feature online-only Challenges (visible when pressing Touchpad if the chapter has challenges). Challenge Progress only tracks while playing online, but this doesn’t affect any trophies. None of the challenges are needed for trophies. The Challenges only unlock new Suits for TacSim.

Step 1: Story + Collectibles [20 Hours]

Simply follow the 007 First Light Collectible Guide and you’ll get everything in one playthrough. Other than Collectibles you don’t need to worry about anything. All story trophies come automatically. Combat trophies should come naturally too, but can also be done through Chapter Select or in TacSim after the story.

Step 2: TacSim Online Mode [30 Minutes]

After the story you will unlock Operations in TacSim. This mode is online only. You can then access it from the Title Screen. This mode offers unique combat challenges and lets you replay story encounters with new objectives. The trophies only take a few minutes: finish 3 Escalations to reach Tier 3 (each 1-3 minutes), finish 1 Operation (3 minutes), and reach Clearance Level 3 which is your main level in this mode. If you aren’t Level 3 automatically after doing the other TacSim trophies, just replay the shortest Escalations and do their Challenges for lots of XP. You can press Touchpad during a match to view Challenges. If you aren’t sure how to solve some combat objectives you can also press Touchpad and scroll over the objective for tutorials on what buttons to press.

Soft landing
Tackle an enemy over a ledge
Bronze
Hold :r2: on an enemy to push them over a ledge. You must keep holding the button, not just press it once. When holding :r2: you get a special animation where you push the enemy backward, then run into a ledge (e.g. top of a ladder), you will fall together with the enemy which knocks him out on impact.

An early spot is Chapter 5: A New Home – Checkpoint 10: Search the Compound – Objective: Steal the flag.

Sleight of hand
Disarm an enemy by shooting a weapon from their hand
Bronze
You should automatically get this during the training in Chapter 3: The Needle’s Eye. You can disarm enemies by shooting their hand when they are aiming at you.
Positively shocking
Make an enemy taser another enemy
Bronze
This can only be done in certain sections where you encounter enemies with tasers. Keep the taser enemy and one other enemy alive. When an enemy aims the taser it’s indicated by a bright blue line. Grab another enemy by holding :r2: and charge straight toward the taser enemy, staying directly in the blue line of the taser. The taser must be shot while you’re pushing the enemy. Tapping :r2: doesn’t seem to work reliably, holding :r2: to get the longer animation where you drag an enemy around works best.

A good spot for this is Chapter 8: All the Time in the World – Checkpoint 05: The laundry – Objective: Get through the laundry. The enemies wearing a weapon holster and bullet-proof vest carry tasers, fight other enemies for half a minute and they will start aiming their tasers at you.

Short fuse
Shoot at an enemy while he’s throwing a grenade
Bronze
This can only be done in combat sections where enemies have grenades. You need to wait until an enemy throws a grenade, while an enemy swings his arm with a grenade in the hand you must shoot him so he drops the grenade.

A good spot is in Chapter 10: The Past Never Dies – Checkpoint 11: Ambush. You spawn directly in front of enemies there. Hide behind cover until one of them throws a grenade. You can press :l3: while aiming to slow down time. You can also hold :l1: for the Q-Watch to slow down time.

Another good spot is Chapter 11: Uninvited – Checkpoint 11: Webb Exhibition.

He’ll live
Knock out an enemy by shooting him in the legs
Bronze
Keep shooting an enemy in the legs until he dies. The final shot that defeats the enemy must be in the leg. Shooting the enemy once is not enough, you have to shoot him multiple times until he dies.
Firestarter
Push an enemy into a fire extinguisher
Bronze
This can only be done in certain sections where you have enemies and also wall-mounted fire extinguishers. Hold :r2: to push an enemy into the fire extinguisher.

A good spot for it is Chapter 8: All the Time in the World – Checkpoint 05: The laundry – Objective: Get through the laundry. In the back left corner of where you enter the area is a fire extinguisher, lure the enemies there.

Damp squib
Hack a grenade before it explodes
Bronze
This can only be done in combat sections where enemies have grenades. After an enemy has thrown a grenade, look at it on the ground and hold :l1: for the Q-Watch and hack the grenade with the assigned button. This will deactivate the grenade so it doesn’t explode.

A good spot is in Chapter 10: The Past Never Dies – Checkpoint 11: Ambush. You spawn directly in front of enemies there. Hide behind cover until one of them throws a grenade. Another good spot is Chapter 11: Uninvited – Checkpoint 11: Webb Exhibition.

Disarming personality
Disarm an enemy with a laser
Bronze
The laser is unlocked during Chapter 9: Out of the Ashes. There you will gain the “Laser Strap” gadget for your Q-Watch. You then equip it in the Q-Lab before missions. Have it equipped, get detected by an armed enemy and when he aims at you shoot him with the Laser Strap (hold :l1: and the button you assigned). It requires electric charges from picking up blue batteries. It also works on enemies with tasers.
Always have an exit plan
Use a gadget to escape a confrontation
Bronze
Go into a restricted area with civilians. Then intentionally walk in front of people in the restricted area to trigger a “confrontation” (the dialogue where you can choose to bluff or comply). During this dialogue hold :l1: and use a Q-Watch gadget that distracts the target. You unlock gadgets in Chapter 4.
What if…?
Complete an Operation in TacSim
Silver
*Online Trophy*

Operations are unlocked after finishing the main story. Then go to Title Screen > Tactical Simulations > play one Operation. They are replays of the combat/stealth sections from the main story with modified objectives. The first one is very short and easy, it only takes 3 minutes.

A change of pace
Complete an Escalation in TacSim
Silver
*Online Trophy*

Escalations are unlocked after Chapter 6: A Night Out. Then go to Title Screen > Tactical Simulations > play one Escalation. The first one is a quick combat tutorial that can be done in 1 minute.

Keep moving forward
Achieve clearance level 3
Silver
*Online Trophy*

Any time after Chapter 6: A Night Out, go to Title Screen > Tactical Simulations. Complete Escalations, Operations, Challenges to gain XP which raises your Clearance Level and unlocks new weapons and gadgets.

Level 3 is very quick to do, there are many more levels. You can get this in 30-60 minutes. The quickest way is to do the other 3 TacSim trophies first (reach tier 3 of an Escalation and play an Operation). Should you not be Level 3 after this, do any quick challenges (press Touchpad to view challenge requirements and XP). For example, during Escalation: Advanced Tactical Training > Tier 2: The Test, you can do a few quick challenges such as pushing enemies over cliffs.

There are reports of the trophy unlocking with a long delay or unlocking upon reaching Clearance Level 4. So if it doesn’t pop at Level 3 do another level up.

The readiness is all
Beat tier 3 of an Escalation in TacSim
Gold
*Online Trophy*

Escalations are unlocked after Chapter 6: A Night Out. Then go to Title Screen > Tactical Simulations > pick the first Escalation and play all 3 tiers of it. Each tier is a short 1 minute level where you must fulfill different requirements. The first Escalation is very easy because it serves a combat tutorial. If you’re unsure about some of the objectives you can press Touchpad and scroll over the combat objectives to see a tutorial how to perform the necessary attacks.

When did nerds become so up in their hugh chair? At least back then people who had the time to dedicate hours mastering a game or spending more life inside an mmo the reality, they kept it to themselves in cafes and groups. Because it is niche, the way you think of games that you have made no contribution in making any of them, and good if youre able to play 20 100+ hours games a year, most people cant. Theyre not out there to 100% ff rebirth or be part of a community. Take chess…interesting enough to buy a board, but most aren’t keeping up with the chess world and Magnus making a pawn to e6…it is something that like anything else that is there to play for fun with friends, not expecting a career to come out of it. People love their firearms but not even police spend proper time at the range because it’s not something they’re willing to devote passion into it as others do. This applies to everything…casual people like taking their skateboard to get to a friend’s house without dreams of sponsors and you think this is something wrong? You must’ve loved riding a bike right, did you call out your friends for their lack or drive? Casual just means it is a hobby man, and if you want to excel it takes discipline sacrifice and time, one lifetime is hardly enough to become a master at ONE thing and if you chose video games, thats fine. Im assuming you have hobbies right. Wouldn’t you feel like someone is too serious about a pick up game on the court, dont you think some mma could be fun and applicable without the drive that requires for you to get into an octagon or maybe big bro showed you how to throw a left hook and spending that time is great for bonding and in case bullies come looking you can at least defend youself or take a punch, that doesnt mean theyre off to make beating people up a large portion of your life. I like fishing. Im not out there everyday looking for big bass because it’s a hobby, it relaxes me, I dont care if nothing bites. Doesn’t make it any less of an activity because there isn’t movies and shows being made on casual fishing. We want to see swap folk fishing with their arms. Thats why niches make for great shows and not hobbies. So the casual gamer doesn’t carry the negative connotations you try to give it because youre in the minority statistically speaking. Most folk dont even know the games you play, right. Yeah, thats niche. Thats you catching fish with using your arm as bait while the rest of us are fine with a rod and worms from Walmart on an off day. And while youre passionate about it, the world works mostly on prioritizing the majority than thinking of the requirements of the few, which never earns them anything but still ungrateful complainers. You guys dont really provide anything to the world with that exclusive way of thinking. Youre not better than anyone, you either just have a different hobby that you have spent way too much time on, like hey, handball is a hobby but if youre there training getting into shape putting in the hours joining communities, spread yourself out more man, that you treat as passion without contributing to a games production yet shell out money for them is more akin the addicts. Whining about their fixes, whining about the product, not contributing anything which is fine, youre allowed to shoot up and veg out, but keep it yourself. It’s a problem when you try to join society like that either directly or indirectly. But know also the majority can care less about suffering addicts and theyre struggles if it doesnt hit close to home, just like people dont care about your high score unless it is literally unprecedented achievements. Most people that hit that dont care about what anyone’s opinion is and they’ll talk about their passion with joy not condemnation towards people who revel in the same area. Im sure yiu have a response ready because im sure you’ve heard this before…nit always, but amost always, people in fringe thought are in the wrong but they’re too deep, they feel, to backtrack.

How much did Goldeneye run back on the N64 on release? How much were burgers at McDonald’s then compared to now, because I remember having one dollar on Wednesday and eating like a king to a few years ago having to switch by big Mac meal because I grabbed a ten thinking it’s more than enough? Burgers taste the same. Video games have advanced exponentially and categorically in all types of games – fps; side scrollees; narrative and character driven games with characters looking more realistic and you know talk…a big Bond trait. Yeah, it’s Pierce Bronson because he has black hair…come on now. Yet people still wait every year for the new phone that while it is now common to run more than 1k, they no longer allow switching the battery, which would solve chargjng or carrying blocks of power, and back there was also a place yiu can add more storage with a mini sd card, thats out too, so you have no choice to buy the phone with set memory ram and storage, and instead of testing it out and adding to it,we fear that having the possibility of not enough so we end up with a product that turns out didnt need 16gb of ram and 2tb of storage; dont get me started on removing the 3.5 input for headphones, or how they dont come with a full manual, charging accessories, no, thats a separate thing. And better get screen and cases because sure back then cell phones from Nokia could be thrown like a brick or even the earlier iphones, now a screen the goes over the edge wont survive a drop from the table without rendering this costly thing useless. By all accounts, gaming has advanced with the latest technologies yet the price difference from 20 years ago hardly reflects it so much so to complain. Because I understand being lied to and scammed, but the majority whine due to them personally not getting the exact game they had in their heads months before release, nitpicking everything while still proving you with hours of excuses to not touch grass. And it’s true, most people dont have the time to master a game for speed runs, or just have an hour or two at night to relax. Some people just like popping in spider man and jusf go for a swing rather than find people to team up and get yelled at by 13 yr olds that sure, take it too seriously, but as an adult im not going to care enough to unmute and losing isnt really the end of the world because you know, life with responsibilities can be stressful enough, why add more with something that has been created to entertain and just unstress. Because theres passionate and then there are obsessions. Im off topic. Basically, dude, if a game is awesome at 50 bucks but not 70, that says more about your financial situation that 20 dollars more is a breaking point. And as ive stated above, video games haven’t reflected how things have become wildly expensive, and crying about it will go as far as back then when mom refused to spend more than 40 on a game despite listing all the reasons to it is worth it, same dumb tears. Wait for Christmas or the inevitable price drop or just dont bother sharing your opinion that just has more to do with being cheap than the actual product. Not broke, just cheap. Because idk how one can go to a bar on a weekend night and find wasting 100 bucks for overpriced drinks is valid and then complain about something people enjoy and are willing to invest on if finances and time allows. Yes, just be happy with what they give you, which is a lifetime of hours in gaming that you can choose to waste money on or not.

So are people just broke enough that an extra 20 bucks is where the line will not be crossed, or is this another excuse to actively go against the games success? If you don’t like the game, thats all thats needed and it’s a good reason, but saying the game is worthy at 50 but not 70 bucks is illogical and comes off as just another reason to keep complaining about DEI and expectations not met, most people dont care because you can point things out but when it becomes insincere with how they are so smart that changing this and that would fix a game, yet, unless youre a developer, you have a limit when your level of involvement was its release date, not a decade ago, and if it that passion inducing, make your own because whats the use if yiu cant even help yourself from giving them money.

To those wondering about PS plus. Well from everything I can tell from the PSN store missing the PS plus required for Online play to the descriptions of TACSIM being special online downloaded challenges to add replayability makes it seem like it is not required. But I guess wait to hear back with more solid info, but perhaps in the meantime this helps quell some concerns.

Since 007 First Light doesn’t have actual multiplayer, that makes PS Plus not required (an online mode that can only be played single-player with an internet connection isn’t the same thing as that).

It looks like there’s a bug with the “Keep moving forward” trophy, requiring you to reach Clearance 4 (3 levels up from 1). It might be fixed in a later patch, but for now clearing one series of 3 escalations and 1 operation should be enough exp to get to level 4, assuming you read up on the available challenges beforehand!

      EDIT to the above:

I got the trophy for Clearance 3 randomly during a story mission, so it seems like it’s tied to a verification check to the online servers. Of course the servers are slammed at the moment so if you don’t get the trophy right away, keep playing and it’ll come up eventually!

On PS5 at least they pop fine, just delayed by 30-90 seconds. Though there are some reports of people not getting the trophies at all. I suspect it could be an issue with online servers trying to sync your progress in the background, playing offline seems to help with that.

I had the issue where I passed level 3 clearance and the trophy didn’t pop. I pushed on to level 4 and it still didn’t come up. I rebooted the game and still no joy. I then restarted the story as I’d already finished it, and played through a couple of hours and the trophy appeared out of nowhere; just seems to take a very long time for some folk.

I reached level 3 clearance and this is my last trophy. But the trophy didn’t pop. I am waiting for 30 mins already. I bough lvl3 stuff in tacsim in order to maybe activate the trophy, did some quick missions. Nothing.
Other trophies got a delay, yes, but no more than 30 seconds. This one is bugged. Last trophy for the plat.

Last trophy for me too, still bugged as of July 2026. Tried relaunching, disconnecting, restarting, level up to 4, throwing people off a cliff, completing tacsims missions again: nothing is popping off!
