Into the Sinkhole is the 4th main mission in the Contain the Crisis questline in Control Resonant. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Into the Sinkhole main quest.

- Quest Description: The active Pattern resonance the CFD needs can be found at the bottom of the Sinkhole. We just have to harness it. But the team the FBC sent down to place the probe relays didn’t get far. Hopefully I’ll have better luck…
Objectives:

Escort the Probe Relays into the Sinkhole
The Sinkhole is located in the Evacuation Zone, and you passed by it on the way into the area the first time.
Jump on top of it, and interact with the button to start going down the sinkhole.
After going a short distance, you will be stopped and need to clear out a room of Hiss enemies that attack you.
After they are all dealt with, jump back up top and interact with the button to continue downward.
Find and Defeat the Hiss
Once you stop again you will need to deal with a miniboss. This miniboss turns invisible and hides in the room, so you will need to spot it using the minimap icon, and the red lamps that will turn on nearby. When you are at the approximate location you can attack around and you should eventually hit it. While fighting it, if you need to heal you can run around the room and look for health pickups.
After the first is defeated, another pair will appear. Defeat these as well, then jump to the probe and interact with the button again to continue.
Install the Probe Relays
At the bottom of the Sinkhole, you now need to place the four probes that drop on the ground. Pick one up, then look at the minimap at the top right to see the location where you need to take it, these are on top of the buildings around the area. The light will blink faster as you are closer, then turn green when you are at the right spot. Interact to place it in the correct spot.
Then interact with the back of the placed probe to activate it. Repeat this with all 4 probes.
Escape the Sinkhole
After placing all 4 probes, the diving bell will rise too high for you to reach, and a large number of Hiss will appear in the room. Defeat them to continue.
After defeating the first large wave, a giant flying Hiss will appear in the area. Avoid its attacks until it floats near the ground and stops moving, then jump on its back and damage the orb there to deal a lot of damage at once.
After defeating the boss, a bunch of platforms will appear around the area. Use them to jump up and climb back up the sinkhole.
Keep following the lit up cord from the diving bell to direct you through the area and direct where you should be jumping to.
When you reach the spinning refraction, wait for it to open and jump through to the platform that appears on the other side.
Follow the Music
Once you reach the top of the area, jump across to where the TV lights up in front of you. Keep following the TVs playing music to lead you out of the area, and once you are back outside you will complete the mission.
This finishes Into the Sinkhole in Control Resonant.
