Control Resonant The Incursion Fault Walkthrough

The Incursion Fault is the 1st main mission in the Search for Jesse questline in Control Resonant. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of The Incursion Fault main quest.

This mission starts automatically when you enter the West Incursion Zone area and attempt to progress into the main part of the area. You are required to complete this quest before you are able to progress to the West Incursion Zone Resonant boss.

Investigate the Vision of Jesse

When you enter the area, progress toward the Parking Garage area that is marked on the map.

Find the Key to the Parking Garage

If you interact with the door, you will find that it is locked, and you need to find the key to enter it. Go to the new search area to the southwest, and on the street there is a “WEAR’EM & WASH’EM” shop with a locked door. Go beside it to the alley where you can run behind it, and enter the door near the laser shooting at the ground. Interact with the floating body to obtain the Parking Garage Security Key.

Use the key on the door in the parking garage, then use the elevator inside. On the rooftop, go to the middle and jump down the hole, falling all the way to the bottom.

Enter the Fault

At the bottom, jump across the gap and interact with the TV to enter the Fault.

Find and Talk to Jesse

Inside the Fault, follow the path in front of you, and Jesse is standing just past a vehicle.

Help Jesse Complete the Ritual

You now have the Shift ability, which allows you to press / to change gravity to stick to different ground surfaces that have been changed to either the walls or floor.

Continue following the path and interact with the TV to spawn the next area.

When you reach the area with the ground above you, you can jump and use Elevate to push yourself up to the surface above, then press / to Shift to that surface.

When you reach areas like the construction area, you can jump and glide beside the surface to automatically stick to it if it is the only surface nearby.

Once you reach the exit and leave the Fault, you still need to get back out of the area. You can Shift onto the wall behind the TV that you entered the Fault with.

This will lead you to the hole you dropped down from, where you can walk along the walls while fighting Hiss to get back to the rooftop of the Parking Garage.
