The Underpass Fault is the 3rd main mission in the Search for Jesse questline in Control Resonant. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of The Underpass Fault main quest.

Objectives:
- Investigate the Vision of Jesse on the Island of Orange Pipes
- Enter the Fault
- Find Jesse and Talk to Her
- Guide the Light-Projected Children
- Reunite Young Dylan and Jesse
- Help Jesse Complete the Ritual
This mission starts when you enter the Underpass area and inspect the island of orange pipes to the west side of the area. You are required to complete this mission before you are able to complete the main mission The House in Distress, as you are required to complete all Fault Rituals to complete this main quest.
Investigate the Vision of Jesse on the Island of Orange Pipes
Make your way over to the Tubes Island as marked on the map within the search area. The easiest way to reach it is from The Spire, where you can use the Reach Points along the islands to grapple over to it. (Use “Reach” ability, unlocked from Jesse Sightings: The Subway Fault).
Make sure to activate the Fault fast travel door before jumping up to the main platform of the island.
On top there will be a group of Mold enemies, defeat them to progress.
You then want to go around the back of the island (the west side) where there is a gap that you can enter to enter that leads into the island.
Inside defeat the next groups of Mold enemies, then follow the path into the white lit room leading south.
Enter the Fault
Jump across the gaps and interact with the TV to enter the Fault.
Find Jesse and Talk to Her
Follow the path ahead, chasing after the orange shadows.
When you reach the platform with the objects inspect the shadows being displayed on the right side, then on the left side, then in the middle.
Jump across to the platform ahead and keep chasing after the orange shadow, then inspect the wall in front of you when you hit the dead end again. After the memory finishes, jump into the hole in the wall to continue.
Guide the Light-Projected Children
Continue following the path along with the lights projected on the wall. You need to take the path leading around to the left instead of jumping across to the shadows of the two children.
Interact with the wall, then follow the path ahead after the memory finishes.
The goal throughout the remaining areas is always to follow the walls where the outlines of people appear as a “light”, and guide them back to the shadows on the wall.
Reunite Young Dylan and Jesse
Keep following the path ahead. In the first area, follow the path around to the right to lead the shadow down to the dead end, then use the Reach Point to grapple back above. You can then jump across to the upper platform to continue and lead the Dylan shadow to the middle.
Continue on the path ahead to the Jesse shadow. Jump to it on the bottom right, then lead it over to the dead end where there is path above it. You can then Shift to the wall on the left to walk over to it, then lead it to the center of the area.
After the floor disappears, follow the path forward to find Jesse.
Help Jesse Complete the Ritual
Interact with the wall ahead, then jump into the hole in the wall. Keep following the path to the end and interact with the TV, then interact with Jesse to complete the mission.
This finishes The Underpass Fault in Control Resonant.
