Far Cry New Dawn Find Hope Walkthrough

Find Hope is a main story mission in Far Cry New Dawn. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the “Find Hope” Main Quest.

Find Hope Starting Location

This mission will automatically start, once the cutscene with Carmina pulling you out of the water has ended.

Reach Hope County

Once you have regained control, you simply need to follow the stream of water. Some resources, plants and a melee weapon can be picked up along the way.

Reach the Mine

You will see a mine, once you walk under the large bridge. Our objective is to head inside to craft a makeshift weapon.

The two main ingredients we need (Components & Duct Tape) will be spread all over the place – the first ones are directly on the first scaffolding you climb onto.

Open the Weapon Menu in the Workbench

There will be plenty more inside, spread over all nooks and crannies, sometimes a bit of climbing is needed to reach them. They will also flash a bit every few seconds, making it easy to spot.

Head to the workbench to check your progress. If you already have enough parts (40 each), you can directly craft the Saw Launcher. If not, your objective will update and two counters will be displayed. This way you know, how much ingredients you are missing.

Reach the Bridge

Once you have crafted the Saw Launcher, you can head over to the bridge. There will be a pair of enemies where you can test out your new weapon.
Sadly, we don’t have the binoculars to tag and track the enemies from afar yet. When approaching the bridge, watch out for the sniper on the left side, as he will spot you very easily. Try to find a second where he is turned away and head over on the right side to avoid direct confrontation and take out a few enemies before you most likely will get into trouble at some point.

Once you have been spotted, find yourself some cover and pick off the enemies one by one. If you don’t feel comfortable with the Saw Launcher, feel free to grab some dropped weapons like a good old-fashioned Shotgun.

Reach the Tunnel

Once all enemies are down – Camina will make a remark about it – roam the area and loot the bodies, before heading into the door in the tunnel.

This concludes the “Find Hope” main mission in Far Cry New Dawn and awards the first trophy of the game. Now the next Story Mission “Gear Up” becomes available.
