From the trophy list we can already tell there are 16 chapters. There are several types of collectibles required for platinum: All Souvenirs, All Feathers, All Flowers, All Secret Chests, All Protector’s Items. We must also fully upgrade the Sling, Gear, Crossbow, Instruments, Alchemy, Stealth Skill, Alchemy Skill, Combat Skill. So by the sound of it we need 100% completion. There are also a handful of miscellaneous trophies such as finding a secret treasure on the island. The previous game A Plague Tale: Innocence took about 15 hours to platinum and was a 3.5/10 in difficulty, about the same can be expected from Requiem.

Looks like a nearly 1 to 1 copy from the first game.
I don’t like trophies for collect all xy. They are making me searching the levels instead of enjoining the game. It breaks the pacing for me.
The first one was a welcome surprise. Excited to play the sequel. Glad there’s a game that doesn’t shy away from forcing you to 100% everything. Hoped HFW would have been the same as its predecessor. It can be annoying (and mind-boggling to some), sure, but personally, I prefer that the plat be the thing you get after finishing everything possible.
I loved A Plague Tale: Innocence when I played it in 2019 so I’m looking forward to playing the sequel at some point. However, I am kind of disappointed that Requiem won’t be available on PS4 so I’ll have to buy a PS5 in order to play it. On the flip side, that does mean it’s another game to add to the list to convince me to buy a PS5 down the line (hopefully when it’s easily purchasable).
I forgot to even comment on the trophies… Considering A Plague Tale: Innocence had an easy Platinum trophy, I’m expecting the same for Requiem which sounds good to me. I also expect the game’s minimum length to be 10-20 hours to earn the Platinum trophy which better be the case considering The Game Collection is selling the game for £39.99 on PS5.
