Dusty Old Files is a side quest in Arknights Endfield. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Dusty Old Files side quest.
- Starting Location: Valley IV > Originium Science Park
- Quest Giver: Thurston
- Requirement: Reach Authority Level 15, Begin Main Mission 16 – Walk in the Park until you unlock the ability to destroy the Blight Cores.
- Reward: 75 Oroberyl, 4,600 T-Creds, 14 Intermediate Combat Records, 8 Protoprism, 11 Arms INSP Kits, and 300 EXP
- Quest Description: A UWST crew mate at the Originium Science Park needs your help with something.

- Recover the first research data file
- Recover the second research data file
- Recover the last research data file
- Talk to Harper
- Submit the research data
Starting Location: Dusty Old Files
In the middle of Main Mission 16 – Walk in the Park. Play the mission until you unlock the ability to destroy the Blight Core. When you have this ability, go into the underground factory and speak with Kitt.
Follow Kitt’s directions
After speaking to Kitt, head around the corner southeast. You’ll find a Blight Core to destroy.
Find the handyterms with the research data
Continue down the path until you reach the next research room.
Turn to your left and look at the table in the center of the room.
Recover the first research data file
Activate the data log and solve the puzzle to unlock the file.
Recover the second research data file
Continue north, then northeast, to find the next data file on the desk and solve the puzzle.
Recover the last research data file
Head north again and then turn left. Look for the next data file on the desk behind a box.
Talk to Harper
Head north again, jump on the boxes, and over the laser fence, and you should find Harper in the room to your right. Speak to him.
Submit the research data
Leave the room and head east. Continue down the path and up the stairs. You’ll receive a message from Kitt and complete the quest.
You receive 75 Oroberyl, 4,600 T-Creds, 14 Intermediate Combat Records, 8 Protoprism, 11 Arms INSP Kits, and 300 EXP.
This finishes the Dusty Old Files side quest in Arknights Endfield.
