A Breeze Away is the 34th main mission in Arknights Endfield. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the A Breeze Away main quest.
- Starting Location: Wuling > Wuling City
- Quest Giver: Automatically begins after completing Main Mission 33 – A Glance of Astonishment
- Chapter: 2 – Process 2
- Requirement: Complete Main Mission 33 – A Glance of Astonishment
- Reward: Origeometry x2, T-Creds x5,300, Elementary Cognitive Carrier x7, Protohedron x2, Arms INSP Kit x13, EXP x300
- Quest Description: You bid farewell to Zhuang Fangyi for now, and head to the allocated AIC site to deploy the Protocol Automation-Core.
Go to the city outskirts and meet the guide
When you regain control, head north. Make sure to unlock the depot along the way if you haven’t already.
Approach the guide at this point to trigger a cutscene.
Follow Lifeng to the destination
Head north down the stairs with Lifeng. He eventually leads you out into an open area.
Defeat the Aggeloi (7)
Take out the Aggeloi that appear. Be mindful that the floating Aggeloi reinforce the other ones with their beams. Take those out first.
Talk to Yan Ning and the others
This objective completes automatically.
Deploy the PAC at the marked location
Head east out into the grass and interact with the glowing point next to the leaning tree.
View the Wuling AIC Plan
Hold L2 to bring up the System Feature Wheel. Then press Left on the D-Pad to open the Wuling AIC Plan.
This AIC Plan is unique to Wuling, and you need to collect the Protocol Dataloggers in Wuling in order to unlock the nodes on this plan.
Back out of the menu to continue.
Talk to Perlica
This objective completes automatically.
Check on Dai Shuang
Head north across the bridge and then west toward the two people at the edge of the path. This triggers a cutscene.
Use the Facility List to construct a Fluid Pump
Bring up the Facility List. In case you need it, hold Left on the D-Pad to bring up the AIC Factory actions menu.
The tutorial selects the Fluid Pump automatically. Select it to construct one.
Then, construct a Fluid Supply Unit. Back out of the menu.
Place Fluid Pump at the designated spot
Go back across the bridge and approach the highlighted point.
Switch to AIC mode by pressing Right on the D-Pad.
Then hold L1 and select the Fluid Pump. Place the Fluid Pump in the selected location.
Place Fluid Supply Unit at the designated spot
Turn around and do the same thing with the Fluid Supply Unit.
Connect the Fluid Pump to the Fluid Supply Unit
Just like with Transport Belts in Valley IV, pipelines connect different equipment. While holding L1, press Down on the D-Pad to start placing pipelines.
Also like Transport Belts, the pipeline just needs a starting point and an ending point. It doesn’t matter which piece of equipment you start with.
Discuss new power plan
This objective completes automatically.
Power the Fluid Pump with the Xiranite Pylon / Power the Fluid Supply Unit with the Xiranite Pylon
Open your inventory (Hold L2 and then Right on the Right Joystick. Select the Xiranite Pylon.
Unlike the Relay Pylons in Valley IV, Xiranite Pylons are wireless. So you don’t need to manually connect them to a power source. They just need to be in range of one.
Fill up the canal
This objective completes automatically after a few seconds.
Go to the area with abnormal Depth readings
Go north, hopping across the lily pads.
Head up the stairs to an open area.
Defeat the Aggeloi (6)
Take out the enemies in front of you.
Check Blighted Zone
Approach the Blight to trigger a cutscene.
Meet up with Lifeng to discuss the next step
This step completes automatically.
This finishes A Breeze Away main quest in Arknights Endfield.
