Arknights Endfield All Characters

Arknights Endfield contains 23 playable Characters (Operators) at the time of the game’s launch. The game uses a star rating to indicate their overall strength. They are divided into three quality tiers: 4-star, 5-star, 6-star. There are no 1-3 star characters, the lowest rating is 4-stars.

Some characters are obtained from game progress or as other bonuses. The best 6-star characters come from the “Headhunt” menu, where you spend your HH Permits to gamble for characters. At launch, the game guarantees a 5-star or better character every 10 HH Permits, and a 6-star character every 80 HH Permits. There are also alternating special headhunts for new characters where you can spend special “Chartered HH Permits”.

You can have up to 4 characters in your active team. Idle characters can be assigned to resource-producing tasks at your camps and on your spaceship.

Character Roles & Damage Types Explained

Each Character has one Role and one Damage Type.

There are 6 Character Roles:

Guard = good at making enemies Vulnerable and applying Physical Statuses. They are also good damage dealers.
Caster = good at applying Arts Inflictions and Arts Reactions (Arts are the elemental effects you apply to enemies: Fire, Ice, Electric, Nature).
Striker = exploits Phyiscal or Arts effects inflicted by other operators to deal decisive damage.
Vanguard = good at recovering Skill Points to help teammates’ skill casting.
Defender = high survivability and good at protecting and treating their teammates, as well as counterattacking enemies.
Supporter = good at applying various crowd control effects that weaken the enemy and can also buff teammates.

There are 5 Damage Types:

Physical
Heat (Combustion) – deals damage over time
Electric (Electrification) – enemy suffers more elemental damage
Cryo (Solidification) – enemy can’t move and you can apply shatter damage by casting Physical/Vulnerability
Nature (Corrosion) – enemy loses resistance to elemental damage
