Through the Haze is the 9th main mission in Arknights Endfield. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Through the Haze main quest.
- Starting Location: Temporary Shelter
- Quest Giver: Automatically begins after completing “Building An Outpost“
- Chapter: Chapter 1 – Process 1
- Requirement: Finished Main Mission 8 – Building An Outpost“
- Reward: Origeometry x3, T-Creds x5,300, Intermediate Combat Record x27, Arms INSP Kit x21, EXP x600
- Quest Description: The outpost has provided temporary relief for the refugees. Enter the underground ventilation shaft to infiltrate the Landbreaker camp and advance toward the Valley Fort.
Return to the shelter
Head back down the cave path you took during Secure Sanctuary.
At the first junction, turn right. Approach Daniel to trigger a cutscene.
Enter the ventilation shaft
Head into the ventilation shaft just behind Daniel, Karja, and Ginny.
Follow the linear path. Be sure to open the chest that you come across on your right. This appears just before a sharp left turn in the path. Continue forward.
Blast the rocks away with explosives
Interact with the explosive barrel to pick up an explosive.
Aim at the broken wall and throw the explosive.
Keep advancing
Continue down the path past the now-broken wall. When you drop down, a cutscene triggers.
Investigate the nearby area (2)
Interact with the two yellow arrows directly in front of you. This triggers a cutscene after a few seconds.
Leave this place
When you regain control, immediately turn right down a short path to grab a chest.
Turn around and go back up the path. A cutscene will trigger when you reach the outside.
Go to the small denstack closest to you
Find the path to your right underneath a streetlight.
Before heading down the stairs, activate the depot to your right.
Head down the stairs to encounter some Landbreakers.
At the bottom of the stairs, turn around and walk behind some debris to find an Aurylene.
Continue along this path until it directs you left at a split. First, head right to grab a chest.
Then continue along the left path and up the stairs in front of you.
When the camera focuses on the large destack, follow the path to the right along the metal boxes and pick up the gather point.
Go back and take the left path up to the small denstack. Take out the Landbreakers.
Destroy the small denstack with explosives
In a small tin enclosure just east of the small denstack, find the explosive barrel. Pick up an explosive from it and throw the explosive at the small denstack.
Continue east from the destroyed denstack. Immediately after the short stairs, turn left into a doorway. Defeat the Landbreaker just inside and then go down another short set of stairs to grab a chest.
Continue on the path until you reach the stairs that lead upward to the left. To your right is a broken block. You can break this block as a slight shortcut. If you want to take this shortcut, backtrack a bit to the explosive barrel and grab an explosive. Throw the explosive at the rock.
Following the normal path up the stairs doesn’t take much more time, though you do end up needing to fight three Landbreakers.
Go behind the destroyed small denstack and descend the zipline. Take out the Landbreakers waiting for you.
This is a more open area than the previous stretch of this quest. First, head up the stairs to your right and grab the Aurelyne on a broken beam.
Then, jump down to ground level and grab this gather point. Further down this direction is blocked off, so return to where you started in this open area.
Follow the left path and take an immediate left into the doorway. Take out the Landbreakers.
Then, continue a little further into the building to the left to find a chest. Head back outside.
Before heading forward through the open gate, go left behind some rubble to activate a zipline. This will act as an exploration shortcut for you.
To the right of that is another Aurylene. Grab that before returning to the open gate.
Save the person in the cage
Right around here, another objective appears. This objective may have already appeared. Head left up the ramp directly in front of you to trigger a cutscene.
Defeat the Landbreakers in front of you.
Just to the left of the zipline is a button module. Interact with it to lower the cage. This triggers a cutscene.
Destroy the small denstack with explosives
When you regain control, head left up the stairs to grab another Aurylene.
Go back down the stairs and interact with the zipline. Then, continue up the staircase to your left.
Take out the Landbreaker next to the explosive barrel. Don’t worry, your attacks don’t hit the barrel no matter how close you are.
Grab an explosive from the barrel and throw it at the small denstack to the northwest. Destroying this small denstack triggers a cutscene.
Reach the Valley Fort
When you regain control, go left past the zipline up the ramp. You’ll see an Aurylene to the right.
Follow up the stairs to grab a chest. Then, walk off this edge to land right on the Aurylene.
Head north to the street.
This finishes Through the Haze main quest in Arknights Endfield.
