#2 – Tales of Baghdad #1: Holy Mission
Go to the map icon, press to scan for a man in a black robe looking at the grave stones. He will be highlighted in orange when scanning. Talk to him. Then walk to the north end of the graveyard to inspect the small gravestone with red roses growing on it, next to the river.
Defeat the enemies that show up to finish the tale.

Now push the shelf from the entrance forward all the way, towards the Gear Chest. Then pull the right shelf towards you. Now the path on the left is open, take the left path then the right path behind the right shelf. This leads to another shelf, pull it towards you. Now take the path behind that shelf. Pull the next shelf towards you. Then backtrack to the entrance and the path to chest will be open.
#8 – Historical Site #3: Expansion of Islam Through Trade
On the street, next to the viewpoint.
#9 – Mysterious Shard #1
Pickpocketed from a guy walking around with two guards south of the viewpoint. He is moving around so the exact location will vary slightly as he’s walking, but will show up on the map when nearby.
#10 – Historical Site #4: Greeks Bearing Gifts
On the street.
#11 – Historical Site #5: A Difficult Succession
On street level, at the entrance to Prince’s Palace.
#12 – Gear Chest #2: Zanj Uprising Outfit Upgrade Schematic
Inside the Prince’s Palace, on the ground floor. You can enter through the front door.
#13 – Gear Chest #3: Zanj Uprising Outfit / Upgrade Schematic
On the roof of Khurasan Gate Guardhouse. Easiest way to get up there is to approach the gate of the Guardhouse from the south (from Round City district). Facing the big gate from the south, you can jump from the rooftops to the wall (restricted area with enemies). From the wall you can climb up some boxes to the roof. On the roof, the chest is in a gated area.
Outside the gate, in the right corner are some vases you can destroy by melee-attacking them. Behind the vases are two shelves you can push. Push the left shelf forward, leave the right shelf where it is. Now aim through the opening between the two shelves to see another vase and throw a throwing knife to destroy it (a throwing knife can be found at the gate to the chest, just left of the shelves).
Now that the vase is gone you can push the right shelf forward, then destroy another set of vases and slide through the opening to reach the chest.
#14 – Enigma #1: A Holy Hoard
On the ground floor of a building, the door is open, accessible from the street.
#15 – Dervis’ Artifact #3: Aksumite Amulet
Pickpocketed from a woman stirring colors with a stick, outside the Dyeing Factory.
#16 – Historical Site #6: The Banu Musa Brothers
Inside the Hidden Ones Bureau, on the upper floor.
#17 – Enigma #2: Left Behind
Inside a house, upstairs. The doors are barred. To get inside, on the upstairs balcony look for a scaffold you can collapse by interacting with it. Behind the scaffold is a window you can climb through, leading to the room with the Enigma roll in the corner.
#18 – Gear Chest #4: Zanj Uprising Sword / Upgrade Schematic
Inside the restricted area called “Metal Factory”. In the little guard building you can climb up the ladder, the chest is on the top floor. The building is accessible from the street.
#19 – Historical Site #7: Ceramics and Lustrewares
On street level, just north of the Metal Factory.
#20 – Historical Site #8: Emporium of the World
On street level, at Qutrabbul Gate.
#21 – Enigma #3: Find What I Stole!
Under a tent by the river, in the corner.
#22 – Gear Chest #5: Zanj Uprising Sword / Upgrade Schematic
On the south side of Damascus Gate Prison, outside the main prison. The chest is downstairs in a locked room. The door to it is east of the chest it’s locked, to open it you must throw a Throwing Knife at the door lock. Go west of the chest, aim through the opening and hit the lock on the back of the door with a Throwing Knife. Now you can go through the door.
#23 – Historical Site #9: Prisons
On street level, south of Damascus Gate Prison.
#24 – Historical Site #10: Pillars of Islam
Street level, at the entrance to the Great Mosque.
#25 – Historical Site #11: Hajj (Pilgrimage to Mecca)
On top of the mosque roof.
#26 & #27 – Lost Book #2: Kalila wa-Dimna + Historical Site #12: Kalila and Dimna
Inside a locked building. To get inside, you must climb through the open window accessible from the backyard on the south side of the building.
This leads to the upper floor. Go downstairs and aim through the metal bars with a Throwing Knife (there are some Throwing Knives on the upper floor). You must throw it at the red keg, doing so will make it explode which unlocks the door downstairs.
Climb back outside and open the now-open door on the south side of the building. This leads to the Historical Site + Lost Book.
#28 – Dervis’ Artifact #4: Buddhist Votive Plaque
Pickpocketed from a guy standing in a yard.
#29 – Historical Site #13: Abbasid Revolution
On street level, at entrance to Damascus Gate.
#30 – Mysterious Shard #2
Pickpocketed from a guy slightly west of Damascus Gate.
#31 – Gear Chest #6: Zanj Uprising Sword / Upgrade Schematic
In a restricted area called Soap Boiler’s District. In one of the guard houses, go inside the house from street level and look up to see a destructible ceiling made of wood. You must throw a Throwing Knife at the ceiling (the reticle will turn red to indicate it can be destroyed, it’s directly underneath the chest). Then you can climb up the wooden wall to get to the room above where the chest is.
That’s all of the collectibles in Harbiyah district. For all other districts refer to Assassin’s Creed Mirage Collectible Guide.
