Ogouchi Buffer Zone (Kanto Region) is the 1st area in Beast of Reincarnation. This walkthrough will guide you to all the collectibles in Ogouchi Buffer Zone. Everything that’s needed for trophies and 100% completion is included. Nothing is missable, everything can be collected after the story.

Campsite – Lookout Shack
Northwest of Downstream Bridge Area campsite, continue northwest past where the Elite Golem was located, jumping up the ruined buildings and grappling to the higher location to the north to find this on a platform above a group of four Golem.

Subcity 01 (Underground Story Area)
Campsite – Subcity 01 Entrance
At the entrance to the large open area inside Subcity 01
Elite Golem
After the door that opens when you clear the first room, required to progress.
Ranged Weapon – Zangetsu Bow
Automatically obtained after interacting with story related Golem.
Manual: Arrows
Automatically obtained along with the Zangetsu Bow.
Ogouchi Buffer Zone
Campsite – Cliff-Facing Tower
Above the sunken area where the area Nushi is fought.
Emma – Nushi Skill: Sakura Storm
Obtained automatically after encountering Rangifer boss for the first time.
Koo – Skill: Frailty Fang
Able to be researched after Koo Rapport mechanic is introduced.
Campsite – Subcity 02 Entrance
West of Cliff-Facing Tower campsite, near the map edge.
Subcity 02 (Underground Optional Area)
Document – Taking the Yellow Key
Deal with all enemies inside Subcity 02 and after defeating them the door in the room behind the two malefacts will open, where this is on a table.
Ogouchi Buffer Zone
Elite Golem
North of Subcity 02 campsite at the very edge of the map, jump over the wall to find a small cave with the Elite Golem near a strongbox.
Keeper Golem
Northeast of Cliff-Facing Tower campsite, go across the lower area and grapple up on the far side where there is a cave directly in front, with the Golem on the right.
Lore Painting
Northeast of Cliff-Facing Tower campsite, go across the lower area and grapple up on the far side where there is a cave directly in front, interact with the back wall
Manual: Recovery Tonic (S)
At Subcity 02 entrance, interact with the Rusted Golem.
Subcity 03 (Underground Story Area)
Campsite – Nushi’s Lair: Gate Approach
Inside Subcity 03, in the room with the door.
Red Key (Story progression item)
Obtained automatically from the Gatekeeper Golem. Can then be used to open the locked door in Abandoned Village where you spoke with the first Rusted Golem, allowing you to open a lockbox with materials.
Weapon – Cirrus Sword
At Nushi’s Lair: Gate Approach campsite, able to be picked up after speaking with the Gatekeeper Golem.
Ogouchi Buffer Zone
Blue Key (Story progression item)
Travel to Lookout Shack campsite, and pick it up off the ground near the shack. Can then be used to open the locked door east of River Fork campsite to obtain materials from a lockbox.
Tailwater Key (Story progression item)
Progression to the marker for the Yellow Key and defeat the bear malefact in the cave to obtain this.
Yellow Key (Story progression item)
Speak with the golem in the cave to obtain the key.
Normal Recipe: Fried Egg
Northeast of Tailwater Village campsite, on a table to the right of the Golem that gave the yellow key.
Subcity 03 (Underground Story Area)
Campsite – Toward the Nushi’s Lair
In Subcity 03 after opening the door with the three keys, this is on the first ledge you can grapple to.
Manuals: Extinguishing Sands, Bottle of Acid, Torch, Acid Arrows, Fire Bolts
In Subcity 03 beside the Toward the Nushi’s Lair campsite, purchase these from the Wandering Merchant golem.
