Introduction

Welcome to the Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake Trophy Guide! Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake is a graphical upgrade to the beloved 2013 PS4 classic. In this game, you control two little brothers as they venture out into the world to look for a remedy to save their dad’s life. The game features environmental puzzles and linear exploration of different areas. Each brother is controlled with a stick on your DualSense. You can unlock the Platinum trophy in one playthrough and you don’t even have to finish the story for it, albeit this is highly encouraged for storytelling purposes. This remake introduces two new trophies, too.

Step 1: Unlock all Trophies

During this one and only step, all you have to do is unlock all trophies in the game as you play through it. Below you can find the trophy unlock order, so you know which description to check to unlock each trophy. Click these to jump to the trophy in the guide below.

Prologue

During the prologue, you’re supposed to carry a cart down a hill and load it onto a bridge. Instead of loading it onto the bridge, leave the cart for a moment and continue down the hill that leads to the shore. Here you will find a pile of rocks that you can interact with. Have the older brother interact with it and he will start skipping stones. This will unlock the trophy.

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake Trophy Guide & Roadmap Wishing well
You threw someone’s ball down a well… Shame on you.
Silver
Chapter 1

After the village sequence, you’ll reach a small farm village with a well in the middle. Along the path you’ll find a little girl playing hoops. As the younger brother, take the ball from her and drop it into the nearby well. After doing so, you’ll unlock this trophy.

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake Trophy Guide & Roadmap Black sheep
Every family’s got one.
Gold
Chapter 1

After escaping the dog in the fields, you’ll climb up a rock and reach a fork. On your right, you’ll find a wheel to run on to lower a bridge, on your left you’ll find a path leading down to an area with some bunnies. Go right and have the younger brother run on the wheel to lower the bridge. As the younger brother keeps running on the wheel, cross the bridge with the older brother and grab a sheep. While holding the sheep, head back across the bridge and go left into the bunny pit. Dip the sheep into the ashes and you will unlock this trophy.

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake Trophy Guide & Roadmap Bunny buddies
You made the bunnies play nice.

Chapter 1

After escaping the dog in the fields, you’ll climb up a rock and reach a fork. On your right, you’ll find a wheel to run on to lower a bridge, on your left you’ll find a path leading down to an area with some bunnies. Go left, grab the white bunny and dip into the bonfire ashes to unlock this trophy.

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake Trophy Guide & Roadmap A sad tune
You made someone feel better.
Gold
Chapter 4

At the start of the chapter, you’ll come to a fork. For this trophy, you want to head down the hill where you find a man trying to hang himself. Hurry down to him and stop him with the older brother. With the younger brother, climb the tree and untie the rope. Then, continue down the path and shimmy along the wall to get to a collapsed wooden structure at the end of which is a music box. Return the music box to the man for a very emotional scene and to unlock this trophy.

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake Trophy Guide & Roadmap Love birds
You re-united the two love birds.
Gold
Chapters 1 & 4

This trophy is a two-parter, requiring you to meet two requirements in the two different chapters above. In Chapter 1, right of the wooden wheel that you need to lower the bridge, is a bird cage. Interact with it with the younger brother to release the bird. Then, in Chapter 4, after fixing the contraption for the inventor and making your way to the hand glider, interact with the spyglass halfway through the stairs. While in spyglass view, move south-east and you should be able to spot a bird. Zoom in on it using the right stick and after a few seconds it will be joined by the same bird you freed in Chapter 1. Meeting both of these requirements will unlock this trophy.

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake Trophy Guide & Roadmap Windpipe
You made the inventor dance.
Gold
Chapter 4

After riding the yaks across the mountains, you’ll come to a wooden structure with an inventor asking you to fix it by means of a gear. After fixing it, continue up the stairs on your left and have the older brother move the big horn and place it on the fifth pipe (counting from the left). After the big horn is on the correct pipe, have the younger brother interact with the lever to play a tune to which the inventor will start dancing. This will unlock the trophy.

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake Trophy Guide & Roadmap Call of the giants
You sounded the a giant horn.
Silver
Chapter 5

At some point, shortly after the beginning of Chapter 5, you’ll have to push down an axe to chop a giant’s leg and reveal the path forward. Continue forward and up the branch to then find a fork. At the fork, go right and jump across the gap, then have the older brother blow into the horn to unlock this trophy.

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake Trophy Guide & Roadmap Behind the curtain
You found a secret.
Gold
Chapter 6

At the very start of Chapter 6, you’ll have to board a boat and paddle your way across some ice water. Shortly after leaving the cave, you’ll find a bloody waterfall on your right. Go behind it to unlock a small cutscene and this trophy.

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake Trophy Guide & Roadmap Turtle soup
You helped the turtles to the sea.
Gold
Chapter 6

Shortly after getting off the boat, you’ll reach a big mama turtle. Instead of following your companion, head right where you’ll find two stranded baby turtles. You can reach the one on the ledge above by giving the younger brother a boost and you’ll find the third one and the top of the nearby hill. Grab and hold all turtles and push them down the ice slide to reunite them with the mama turtle. After all baby turtles have been brought back to their mama, you’ll unlock this trophy.

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake Trophy Guide & Roadmap Whale song
You practiced singing.
Silver
Chapter 6

Immediately after rescuing the baby turtles, shimmy along the wall and climb up the next one. Your companion will stop in front of a tree you’re supposed to saw to create the path forward. Instead, ignore her and the tree for a moment and continue up the path, at whose end you’ll find a bench. Sit on the bench with both brothers and after a few seconds, they will start signing the whale song and this trophy will unlock.

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake Trophy Guide & Roadmap Falling star
Make a wish.
Silver
Chapter 3

Near the beginning of chapter 3, after scaring the wolves away with your torch, you’ll come to a small graveyard. The moment you enter it, go up and to the left to find the statue of an angel. Interact with it with the younger brother for a few seconds until the trophy unlocks.

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake Trophy Guide & Roadmap One last game…
You showed your little brother how it’s done.
Gold
Chapter 1

After the village sequence, you’ll reach a small village with a well in the middle. Along the path you’ll find a little girl playing hoops. As the older brother, take the ball from her and while standing on the path, throw the ball into the hoop. When you’ve scored a basket, you’ll unlock this trophy.

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake Trophy Guide & Roadmap Spin me around
You make someone’s head spin too much.
Gold
Chapter 1

This trophy can be unlocked immediately after :gold: Black Sheep. Grab and hold the same sheep you used to unlock said trophy and spin a few times with the left stick until the trophy unlocks.

The Love birds trophy is loseable if it is not done in the same game (It does not work with the selection of chapters) I freed the bird in chapter one and I did not do what was in chapter four. When I beat the game I went to chapter four with the chapter selection and it didn’t work. I have had to play from one to four in a row

It works, you just have to make sure you go straight from Chapter 1 — and make sure your checkpoint is saved first — to Chapter 4. You probably did what I did the first time I was attempting to get this trophy and hopped around, completing trophies from other chapters before heading to 4.
