Crossing the Threshold is a side quest in Control Resonant. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Crossing the Threshold side mission. This also counts as one of the requirements toward the Threshold Researcher trophy & achievement.

- Requirement: Reach Central region
- Reward: Untapped Practice Knot artifact, Sensory Restraint Hood
- Quest Description: I found a body with an exploded head. I need to figure out what’s going on before more people turn up dead.

Starting Location: Crossing the Threshold
To start this quest go west of the Field Office area where there is a garage door you can open with a body inside.
Investigate the Loading Docks
In the loading docks, inspect the security camera in the corner.
Find the CCTV Footage
You can then go to the Security Station near to the fast travel door, interact with the computer in the corner.
On the computer choose “Next Screen” > “Interact”.
Investigate the Field Hospital
Next you need to investigate the Field Hospital in the Field Office area.
Go inside and inspect the items around the room, then the green cabinet in the corner.
Get the Archive Cabinet Code
You can then go to the building to the south into the third floor SECURITY STATION room and interact with the computer. Choose “Next screen” 2 times.
Unlock the Archive Cabinet
You can now go back to the green cabinet in the Field Hospital and interact with it to open it, then pick up the Dig Site Threshold Quarantine List note from inside.
Investigate the Dig Site Threshold
You can go to the Dig Site and report the body on the ground. Pick up the other collectibles nearby, then you can report further to Zoe. Then you can interact with the body on the ground to receive Mobile Research Station Keycard.
Jump up to the building to the north with the TE Clearance door which you can now open.
Inside pick up the recording collectible right by the door, along with the note further back in the room.
Find Wilson at the Warehouse
You can then head to the northeast to the warehouse.
When you enter you will be attacked by Hiss, defeat them all to progress.
When they are dealt with interact with the door to the north.
Talk to Wilson
In the room interact with Wilson. The way you respond to him determines how the rest of the quest works. If you listen to Wilson you can offer to take in the entity, to take it back to the threshold.
Host AVP-3
If you agree to host AVP-3 to get it back to the threshold, interact with the person sitting on the ground nearby.
Take AVP-3 to the Dig Site Threshold
Once you have hosted the entity, go back to the south to the Dig Site.
Stand in the yellow square area to release the entity and complete the mission.
This finishes Crossing the Threshold side quest in Control Resonant.
