Days Gone How to Get Fuel

April 25, 2019 by PowerPyx 1 Comment

In Days Gone Fuel is used to refill your motorcycle. When the engine stops you may wonder how to get more fuel. It’s luckily quite easy:

How to Get Fuel:

  • From Fuel Stations (marked on the map)
  • From Fuel Canisters

Fuel Stations: These have infinite fuel but there aren’t a whole lot of them. On the map they are marked with this icon:  . The most useful one is at O’Leary Mountain Safehouse (Boozer’s Tower). It’s your first story hideout. Inside the safe area you can drive up to some fuel barrels to refill your bike. Again, this is infinite.

Fuel Canisters: These are found at many places, for example out on the road, on vehicles, in buildings, and always at Nero Checkpoints. Every Nero Checkpoint has two of them. Now what’s great is that these will always show on your HUD when you run low on fuel. Then the nearest one(s) automatically get revealed to you so these canisters are easy to locate. When the fuel gauge turns orange (bottom right corner of the screen next to the minimap) be sure to look out for them before you run out of fuel completely. Carry the canister to your bike and hold :circle: to fill it up.

The Canisters always respawn in the same positions! When you fast travel they will respawn. After a while you’ll know where some of them are, but luckily they are found every few meters. There’s always one near you. Don’t bothing looking for them when your fuel is still full as they don’t show up on the map.

That’s all there is to know about Fuel in Days Gone, good luck on your survival adventure.
