On Herod’s Birthday is a Main Story Mission in Days Gone. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the “On Herod’s Birthday” Main Quest.
Storyline: I Remember
Objectives:
- Place GPS Tracker on the NERO Helo
- Spy on the NERO Researcher
- Return to Your Bike
On Herod’s Birthday Starting Location
This mission will become available sometime after you’ve secured the Dynamite Map with Iron Mike. O’Brian will be in contact once again via Radio.
Spy on the NERO Researcher
This mission is not unlike the previous times where O’Brian wants us to spy on his colleagues.
You know the drill – observe and tag the enemies from afar and use rocks to lure them away. Getting the enemy on the right side of the helicopter away should be enough to place the tracking device on it.

The best spot to play Peeping Tom on the Researcher is to climb onto the building from its backside, using the ladder. When the Researcher in white changes the position, you need to stay close. If you lose the connection for too long, you have to start from scratch.

Use the adjacent window to jump inside the building and walk to the very end of it.
The corner of the last room is just within the radius you need to be in.

Once you have gathered the intel you need, climb down the ladder again and walk in a big circle around the helicopter to get to your bike and trigger O’Brians call.
