The Holt is the 3rd and final mission in Doom Eternal: The Ancient Gods Part 1 and contains 14 collectible locations (5 Codex pages, 1 Support Rune, 1 Slayer Key, 1 Slayer Gate, 2 Secret Encounters, 4 Extra Lives). This walkthrough will guide you to all The Holt collectibles in Doom Eternal: The Ancient Gods Part 1.

All collectibles in this chapter are listed in chronological order. If you miss anything you can use fast travel when it unlocks at the end of the mission to go back everywhere.
NOTE: There appears to be an issue if you fast travel back to do Secret Encounter 2 where you can’t actually access it again due to a laser door, so try to get that one done first run through the level instead of fast traveling back for it.
Slayer Key – After the first major encounter of the level, you will go down a path and need to punch a large tree to proceed. After walking up the tree, climb up the ledge nearby and then jump across to where you can grab this key.
Extra Life #1 – In the same area as the above tree, on the lower area before going up the tree, go to the left and climb a ledge to follow a path to this Extra Life. After grabbing it two Hell Knights will spawn back down the path.
Extra Life #2 – In the same area as the above tree, climb the tree and up the next ledge that you jumped to the Slayer Key from. Instead of doing that, follow the path to the right where you can find a cracked wall with an extra life behind it.
Secret Encounter #1 – From the top of the above tree, take the path to the right into the tunnel. On the right, there is a cracked wall with this Secret Encounter behind it. This encounter spawns a Possessed Cyber Mancubus, a Spectre, and a few zombies. You need to try and focus the Possessed enemy as quickly as possible, as it takes a huge amount of damage to kill, then also need to kill the Spirit after. If you have a BFG shot you can use it right away to kill the Spectre and damage the Possessed enemy, then just worry about the Possessed enemy to finish.
Slayer Gate #2, Support Rune #2 – From the above secret encounter, follow the path to the right to where you can find this Slayer Gate.
Automap Station – Around the corner from the Slayer Gate, you can find this Automap.
Codex #1 (Book of the Seraphs – Part 9) – After punching two trees, you’ll reach a large pit where the objective wants you to go up to the left. Instead of doing that, look over the edge and drop down to find this codex page.
Extra Life #3/4 – After punching another tree around to reach the above marked ledge, you will jump to a platform with two of the green disintegrating platforms after it, where you can see this extra life behind some lasers to the left. Look on the wall to the lower left of the green platforms and you can spot a cracked wall, which leads to this extra life.
Codex #2 (Book of the Seraphs – Part 10) – After the room where you hit the buttons on the pillars, you will reach a circular platform with some smaller ones around it. On the last platform on the right, you can find this codex.
Secret Encounter #2 – After jumping across the huge gap and doing the large enemy encounter you activate a switch to progress, and you can see this Secret Encounter behind a laser barrier. To turn off the barrier, shoot the green switch on the ceiling above the switch you use to progress. This encounter spawns two Imps, a Marauder, and a Blood Maykr in the prior encounter area. Go out the right hallway, and get a headshot kill immediately on the Blood Maykr. You then need to deal with the Marauder, hitting it with the super shotgun then switching to the ballista to shoot it when it’s stunned to take it down as quickly as possible.
Codex #3 (Book of the Seraphs – Part 11) – After jumping up to the upper area and entering the next circular room with the switch, this Codex is just to the left.
Codex #4 (Seraphim) – After punching the switch then jumping across the swing bar to reach the final area of the level, turn around, and on the underside of the structure you just jumped across there is another button to shoot, which opens the door at the far side. Go through that door to find this Codex.
Codex #5 (The Father) – In the final room with all the ammo and resources before entering the boss room, this is in the back right corner.
