Final Fantasy 16 (XVI) Needs of the Many Walkthrough

Needs of the Many is a Side Quest in Final Fantasy 16 (XVI). This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Needs of the Many side mission.

• Starting Location: The Hideaway
• Quest Giver: Alban, Postmaster
• Requirement: Unlocked during the ‘Righting Wrongs‘ Main Quest
• Reward: 20 XP, 30 Wyrrite, 30 Sharp Fang, 1 Meteorite
• Quest Info: An old man at the Hideaway asks Clive to find his friend Randal, who went to Lostwing to work, and hasn’t come back.

Objectives:

• Speak with Quinten in Lostwing
• Search for Randal in Laubert’s Pass
• Slay the beastmen
• Inspect Randal’s body
• Inform Quinten of Randal’s fate

Starting Location: Needs of the Many

Speak with Quinten in Lostwing

Fast travel to Lostwing and enter the Hanged Man. Speak to Quinten behind the bar.

Search for Randal in Laubert’s Pass

Run all the way south to Laubert’s Pass to find a man crouched in the middle of the road.

Slay the beastmen

Head a short way south-west down the road and kill the Goblin and Hill Gigas enemies.

Inspect Randal’s body

Randal didn’t make it. Inspect his body by holding .

Inform Quinten of Randal’s fate

Return to Quinten at the Hanged Man and talk to him to complete this quest.
