Final Fantasy 16 (XVI) Nobody’s Tool Walkthrough

Nobody’s Tool is a Side Quest in Final Fantasy 16 (XVI). This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Nobody’s Tool side mission.

• Starting Location: The Hideaway
• Quest Giver: Dorys
• Requirement: Unlocked during the ‘Back to their Origin‘ Main Quest after speaking with Jill and must also have done Side Quests “The Weight of Command” & “Self-Determination“.
• Reward: 9600 XP, 50 Renown, Accessory: The Breath of Darkness (Gungnir), 1 Meteorite
• Quest Info: Dorys asks Clive to accompany her to the prison of Balmung Dark, where she believes an acquaintance of hers might be interned.

Objectives:

• Journey to Balmung Dark
• Find and rescue the captive Bearers (0/3)
• Join Dorys on the second floor
• Use the key on the locked gate
• Search the east wing
• Slay the Kuza Beast

Starting Location: Nobody’s Tool

Journey to Balmung Dark

Fast travel all the way east to Ravenwit Walls on Ash and enter Balmung Dark up the stairs nearby. Speak to Dorys at the portcullis.

Find and rescue the captive Bearers (0/3)

Head through the entrance to the left of the gate and check the first alcove on the left for an item on a shelf, an icon in a room further down the corridor, then an item on the floor at the end of the path.

Join Dorys on the second floor

Head up the stairs in this corridor to get upstairs.

Use the key on the locked gate

Head to the portcullis where you first met Dorys, then open the gate to the right of it.

Search the east wing

Head down the wing and enter the last alcove on the right. Speak to the girl hiding behind the crates.

Slay the Kuza Beast

Head back down the wing towards where you entered and you’ll see one of the metal grates is broken, allowing you enter the arena-like central area. Your foe is waiting for you, so kill it.
