Final Fantasy 16 (XVI) Onward to Discovery Walkthrough

Onward to Discovery is a Side Quest in Final Fantasy 16 (XVI). This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Onward to Discovery side mission.

• Starting Location: Boklad
• Quest Giver: Jachym, Scholar
• Requirement: Unlocked during the ‘Onward‘ Main Quest after completing the ‘Blood from the Stones‘ Sub-Quest
• Reward: 900 XP, 280 AP, 30 Renown, Accessory: The Breath of Earth (Upheaval), 20 Wyrrite
• Quest Info: An excitable scholar of Dzemekian history hires Clive to watch over him while he investigates some ruins near Boklad, then promptly disappears before his newly hired bodyguard can so much as blink.

Objectives:

• Accompany Jachym along the old Dzemekys road
• Slay the bandits
• Follow Jachym
• Slay the creatures
• Follow Jachym
• Slay the Fallen echoes

Starting Location: Onward to Discovery

Accompany Jachym along the old Dzemekys road

Head 150y south to find Jachym being intimidated by some bandits.

Slay the bandits

Kill the enemies.

Follow Jachym

Find Jachym again about 240y to the south-west.

Slay the creatures

Kill the enemies.

Follow Jachym

Follow him again, this time about 160y south-west.

Slay the Fallen echoes

Kill the enemies. Afterwards, you will automatically talk to Jachym and complete this quest.

This finishes Onward to Discovery Side Quest in Final Fantasy 16 (XVI).
