Behind the Scenes is the eighth subquest in Prologue: Act 2, For A Tomorrow Without Tears, an Archon Quest in Genshin Impact. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Behind the Scenes Archon Subquest.
Behind the Scenes is unlocked automatically when you finish the previous subquest, Wild Escape
Region: Mondstadt
Area: Angel’s Share Tavern
Quest Giver: Automatically given after completing Wild Escape
Requirement: Complete subquest Wild Escape
Recommended Level: 15
Reward: 250 Adventure EXP, 5,450 Mora, 2,850 Character EXP, 5 Fine Enhancement Ore
Mission Description: Meet up with Diluc after the tavern closes to move ahead with the new plan.
Objectives:
- Leave the tavern
- Wait until the tavern is closed 00:00 – 06:00
- Go back to the tavern
- Talk to Diluc
Starting Location: Angel’s Share Tavern
This quest begins automatically after completing Wild Escape.
Leave the tavern
You won’t be able to do anything until after the tavern closes. For now, leave the tavern.
Wait until the tavern closes 00:00 – 06:00
In all likelihood, the in-game time won’t match up with this time restriction. If it doesn’t, use the Paimon Menu to open the Time menu and change the time to midnight (00:00).
Go back to the tavern
When in the necessary time window, enter the tavern. A cutscene automatically starts.
Inside, you find Acting Grand Master Jean speaking with Diluc and Venti. She can’t be public about this plan, but she agrees to go along with your plan of action.
Talk to Diluc
Diluc eventually asks if you’re ready to go. Select “Let’s Go” to continue the quest. If you need to do other things in the game, select “Wait a second” and come back to the tavern when you’re ready.
Once you select “Let’s Go,” the Behind the Scenes subquest automatically completes.
